Bellavista is a Mediterranean-style, three-story villa complex overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Privately situated on one and one-half landscaped acres with a free form 20-foot by 40-foot pool.
Each floor of the main building is a self-contained, 2400-square-foot, three-bedroom suite beautifully furnished with a mix of antique and modern furniture. In addition to our 3 bedroom suites, Bellavista has three 1 bedroom suites.
Each suite has large outdoor seating area or veranda, completely furnished with outdoor dining, barbecue, and comfortable lounge furniture. All bedrooms are air conditioned, have full en suite baths and balconies overlooking the ocean. These suites can be rented individually or combined to accommodate up to 24 guests.
From the balconies, there are spectacular, 360 degree, scenic views of St. Martin, St. Kitts, St. Barts, Saba, and of course Prickly Pear, Dog Island, and Sandy Island on the Atlantic side. Probably the best view on the island! The goat path is a 5 minute walk down to beautiful Road Bay Beach and all its beach restaurants and clubs.
Bellavista is located in the centre of Anguilla right on the Atlantic Ocean, so all of Anguilla's fabulous beaches are very accessible. 3 great restaurants are within walking distance on South Hill!

Arrived late at night and exhausted, we settled in quickly to a roomie, beautifully furnished, clean, unit.
I woke up to one of the best tropical views I've ever seen. I've stayed at expensive resorts all over tropical/exotic destinations and they didn't touch this. It's just unbelievable.
Ingrid was an incredible host, she makes sure you're well taken care of and regularly invites you down for dinner and drinks in the courtyard. The villa is located very conveniently in the middle of the island, just minutes drive from island landmarks such as: the pump house, Elvis' and many other fantastic restaurants. Far enough away to allow for tranquil evenings on the balcony or poolside but close enough to hear the whispers of music at a beach party (which is incredibly enticing when debating going for a night out!).
Ingrid will steer you towards all the hot spots on the island and let you know who to talk to when you get there. Couldn't have asked for a better host/stay, can't wait to go back!
Traveling to Anguilla was an incredible experience and staying at the Bellavista only added to my satisfaction. Ingrid and her staff were amazing people who made me feel as though I was at home, with friendly smiles and going above and beyond to ensure my trip was nothing short of unforgettable. The view and the breeze from the balcony was simply perfect, no other words could describe that experience.
My only problem with visiting again is my unwillingness to leave the Bellavista.
Boyfriend & I just returned from our 2nd visit this year to Anguilla and 1st stay at Bellavista. Our 1st visit we stayed at a 5* resort which was fantastic but costly and from what we have experienced Bellavista is the best value. The postcard views from the huge balcony overlooking the ocean are breathtaking . We rented the 2nd floor unit. The villa was spotless, comfortable beds, cd player, kitchen was stocked with every kind of cooking utensil, beach towels/coolers etc. During our 12 day stay I slept many nights out on the balcony as I couldn’t resist listening to the sounds of the ocean lulling me to sleep with the soothing ocean breezes. Each day we looked forward to waking up and sipping coffee on the balcony in our comfy chairs and soaking in the incredible views and than of course ending our day with a glass of wine looking out to the stars and moon. Ingrid the owner is quick to reply to emails, she welcomes you with open arms and will go out of her way to make sure you have a fabulous vacation. She is a very special lady and once you meet her you will understand why. We had massages on our balcony by Tanya who was recommended by Ingrid and all I can say is heavenly! The first day we arrived at Bellavista we were in awe. I texted my girlfriend in Toronto and asked her to join us. 2 days later she arrived on her first visit to Anguilla! She couldn’t believe the views at Bellavista so much so that she called her adult kids and told them to get on the next flight and sure enough the next day they arrived. They are still there renting the 3rd floor and loving it! We are so happy that our friends were able to join us and experience our new found paradise. The location can’t be beat as you are above Sandy Ground which has some of the best restaurants on the island. You are a short drive to Cove Bay, Maundays Bay, Rendezvous Bay for golf/spa, Meads Bay and Shoal Bay East is an easy drive too.You are within an easy walk to a little grocery store for basic munchies/alchohol and Irie Life Gift Shop which we think is the best shop on the island for souvenirs such as t-shirts.There is very little crime on Anguilla but it's a nice feeling to know that there is always somebody on premise. Ingrid, David and Michael make you feel like you are family and just mentioning them makes us smile. Thanks so much for making our 2nd visit to Anguilla even better than the 1st and thank you Ingrid for sharing your special paradise! Would we recommend Bellavista? ABSOLUTELY!
we went to BellaVista for our 20th Anniversary and it became my new favorite Island. The Third floor views were amazing and Ingrid was so helpful with anything we needed. Trying to go back in April and there is no where else i want to stay.........check your email Ingrid........lol
Best describes Bellavista in my humble opinion.
This 3 story villa is perched on a cliff, providing a phenomenal panoramic view of Sandy Ground Harbor, and the Atlantic.
Life just doesn’t get any better enjoying your morning coffee on your private terrace, as the sun rises, and glistens on the calm turquoise waters. Evenings provide a stunning view of spectacular sunsets, dazzling night skies with a multitude of stars, and the moon’s reflection on the waters below.
Our 3 bedroom suite was tastefully appointed, fully equipped, including satellite television, and high speed WIFI. We wanted for nothing – all the conveniences of home in paradise. I also might add the villa has a fabulous salt water swimming pool, for that early morning, or late night swim.
The owner and our host at Bellavista, Ingrid Weger, made our vacation one of the most enjoyable that we have had in many years. From arranging our car rental, assisting us selecting local restaurants for lunch and dinner, to directing us to the best of the 30 plus beaches that surround Anguilla, Ingrid truly made our vacation in Anguilla, one that we will always remember, and cherish. Without a doubt, we will be back soon to continue our exploration of Anguilla, meet up with all our new island friends, and once again enjoy the hospitality of Ingrid, and her staff at Bellavista.
Stayed here in 2008 for my wedding. Loved the property. Had everything we needed. Loved the on-site pool to cool off. Only drawbacks were the roosters crowing very early morning, late evening, etc... Also, The ceiling fans were set to low speed only and the heat was stifling. Rooms had AC units that weren't working properly.
This property is well worth the stay/price. I'd bring a fan if you're not comfortable sleeping in high humidity. I'd definitely go again. The nearby beaches, primarly Shoal Bay East, are the best I've seen in my travels to 22 islands. Insane, clear tourquoise waters with no waves and sandy bottom ocean floors with very few to no rocks and shells.
Dancing and of course great Restaurants and relaxing Spas
