Why Acorn Ridge Cabin? There are many beautiful cabins in North Georgia but only Acorn Ridge Cabin will help make your getaway exactly like you envisioned it!! Acorn Ridge Cabin gives the special touches to make sure your getaway will be exactly like you envisioned it, including personal recommendations for area activities and restaurants, based on your group size (couples, kids, etc) and requirements. You won't get this level of service from other owners. Acorn Ridge has two bedrooms (queen-size beds in each) plus a giant loft with king-size bed (our favorite room), two baths, a bonus room with pool table and a covered wrap around two level porch. Cabin sleeps six comfortably in beds. Our cabin is situated on a 2+ acre wooded lot, with the privacy you want but the convenience of being just outside of Blue Ridge.
Why Acorn Ridge Cabin?: There are many beautiful cabins in North Georgia but only Acorn Ridge Cabin will help make your getaway exactly like you envisioned it. If you want to just relax at the house, I'll give recommendations on how to best do it. For dining, I'll give my favorite restaurants. For shopping and antiquing, just let me know what you're hunting for and I'll point you in the right direction. No other cabin in North Georgia provides the same level of service.
We invite you to call us (Ken or Amy) to ask questions about cabin, availability, rates, or just about the Blue Ridge area. We know there are many beautiful cabins but few compare to our level of service and responsiveness.
We have 3 kids and wanted to buy a cabin that we could enjoy a lot and then rent when we're not using it. As you can see from our reviews, we take great care of our guests and are very responsive to their questions.
Ken owns a business in Atlanta and Amy works for a non-profit. Our boys (Sam, Nick, in the photo) are now 13 and 11 yrs, along with 7 year old Julianna.
Amy Crowell purchased this cabin in 2005
Blue Ridge is the best little town in North Georgia. It doesn't have the fake tourist feel like Helen. It's a classy little town and the area provides a lot to do for different types of people. If you want to shop and eat, just spend the day in Blue Ridge. If you want to play in the water, hit the lake or go rafting/tubing. If you want to hike, there's plenty of National Forest land to do it. Plus it's an easy 90 minutes from ATL. So you can pop up on a Friday night and stay 2 days without being exhausted from the drive.
Our cabin's size and layout is perfect. If it's just two people, you'll feel right and home and not lost in a cavernous place. If it's two families, each family can stay on a separate floor so the kids can sleep as (if?) needed.
Thanks for a great time at your cabin. We were thrilled with the privacy and weather. We ate in every meal, used the grill and stove. I think my Son and I played about 50 games of pool. I was a hero for leading my family to Acorn Ridge.
Our family of three enjoyed the stay! The cabin was cozy, and the game room in the down stair was a hit.
We played pool and cards every night and enjoyed the hot tub outside of the game room.
The location of the cabin was close to everything and was very convenient. The owner, Ken, was very accommodating and helpful.
My Maltese pup chewed on one of the window blinds, and Ken did not overcharge me for that at all. Instead, he let me order one from Amazon.com and had his crew install the new blind. I really appreciated all the personal touches in the cabin and friendly owner.
Thank you, Ken!
The cabin was better than advertised. Everything was super clean and well kept. The owner was accessible and very helpful! I would definitely stay again!
Just spent 3 days with my family here after a long road trip and the cabin was everything we needed and more. Enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool and just enjoying the scenery. Close to everything but still far away for a chilled out time away in the woods. Would love to stay again. Ken was very responsive and place was well stocked and ready to go.
We stayed in this beautiful cabin July 7th - 9th, 2016. First of all, the owners are wonderful and it is obvious that they take great pride in their property. Ken was so helpful when I asked for advice on the area! The cabin (I feel it is definitely more of a HOUSE than "cabin") was so clean and the finishes are beautiful. Our family of five was more than comfortable in the three bedrooms and the extra living space in the finished lower level made it even more comfortable. The cabin is tucked into a very wooded area, which makes this setting even more serene and private. While there, we went whitewater rafting and zip lining and found the greatest pizza at Satchel's Pizza in Gainesville. I cannot say enough good things about this rental property. If you are on the fence, I'd say jump on this cabin before it gets away!
My grown children met my husband and myself there for a long weekend and had a great time. My son brought his boat and the beautiful lake was only five minutes away. The cabin had three rooms on three different floors giving everyone privacy while sleeping. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day at the lake while the guys grilled dinner. The games were mostly for younger children, but we still put a couple of puzzles together. Really enjoyed shooting pool at night.
Overall, I would recommend this cabin. We made some great memories there.
We've stayed in many privately owned cabins across the US. This is definitely one of the best. It was extremely clean, had everything we needed to cook while there and even had a good selection of basic pantry staples. Our preteen children were thrilled with the selection of movies, games and the pool table. We all enjoyed the hot tub.
Ken was extremely easy to work with, flexible on our date of departure and willing to answer all questions in a timely manner.
I'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone headed to the Blue Ridge area. It's convenient while still being located in a quiet and very private setting.
Thanks for everything!
