What a GREAT place to stay. Simple and small. Nice and clean when we arrived. Loved having breakfast on the deck. always a cool breeze off the water. Had a fire one night and sat down by the water every night. Easy walk to the beach. Perfect little cottage to spend a vacation at. THANKS!! Jac!!!! The Dexter family.
If you want to experience Cape Code this is the place to stay. The cottage has charming Cape Cod theme. Plenty of space for 2 people but can fit 4. Located in quiet area with fantastic view. Very short walk to the beach.
Comfortable quaint older waterfront cottage. All the essentials but small.
We forgot to bring our own sheets but there was a Christmas tree shop nearby.
Would stay there again- Good Value
This was just what we needed for our weekend away. My girlfriend and I took her son to Cape Code and Boston for his 15th birthday. Since we also wanted to spend some time on the beach, we had to find a place that would accommodate it all. This cottage was just right. It was big enough for the three of us, and was very comfortable. The pond behind the cottage was perfect for a wonderful breeze. With the beach a quick 10 minute walk away we didn't need to worry about driving. The cottage feels like it's in a secluded location, but restaurants, etc, are all within 10 minutes.
The beds were very comfortable (we stayed in the 2 bedroom), and the 15 year old had no complaints about the bunk bed in the second room. All in all, a very nice place.
Jac was a great host. We never met him personally but he always answered our questions in a timely fashion. The cottage was just as advertised and its location is a great asset. It is located in the center of Cape Cod so even the drive to the northernmost tip (Provincetown) was little more than a one hour drive. We would recommend the Whale Watch tour with Hyannis Whale Watcher cruises. We saw plenty of whales and even white sided dolphins! We would also recommend Hyline Cruises to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. We had a blast on all these adventures! For food, we recommend Mikes Roast Beef and Pizzeria on Rt.28. The food was excellent and the prices were good.
This was our first vacation to Cape Cod, and I think we've found our new vacation destination! The area is beautiful and there is plenty to see and do! We will definitely be back!

Neat and clean as a pin, and quaint as can be. The good: comfortable mattress, rustic but functional galley kitchen and bathroom, well-furnished, nice water view, pleasant cross ventilation, decent wifi, very good cable and flat screen tv, comfortable deck, great walk to nice beach, central location away from main roads. The bad: noisy street, (lots of power equipment landscaping going on everyday at all hours), trade-off privacy when you open windows for cross ventilation, minimal parking, anemic ac, no dishwasher (you have to trust the guests before you to hand-wash the dishes properly or rewash yourself), only starter kit of paper goods provided, space too cramped for more than two guests. The ugly: nasty tick attack when lounging in the back yard, super thin walls (cottage is a duplex), $15/day beach parking. Bottom line: fair bargain - you get what you pay for.
A short walk to Seagull Beach on scenic Nantucket Sound, a quick drive to Hyannisport and the JFK Memorial Library or the Kennedy compound. Sail to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard from Hyannis just minutes away. So much to do on Ole Cape Cod!
