3 Bed Apartment, Unusually Large Solarium, Air Con, Satellite TV Wifi.

Casa Chrisitna is a 3 bedroomed two bathroom apartment with a separate fully equipped kitchen. The property is a second floor bungalow, furnished in contemporary Spanish style. There are three double bedrooms, the largest has a double and en-suite with bath shower and bidet. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. One of the bedrooms has two single beds the other a bunk bed with a base double. There is a second bathroom which has a shower.The lounge area has a 3 seater leather settee, an armchair, a dining room table which has a further 6 chairs. There is an extending coffee table which houses games. There is a T.V. with free view, WIFI, books, DVD's, CD's, radio and CD player, there is an additional CD player that can be used on the rooftop.

The kitchen is well equipped; home from home. A large fridge freezer, oven with hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Cooking utensils, crockery and glasses, picnic bag and cooler. There is an iron and ironing board. There is a small First Aid Kit.

There is air-con and ceiling fans in the lounge, kitchen and two of the bedrooms. In the cooler months there are two heaters. For children there is a travel cot, high chair, protable safety gate, changing mat, bottle sterilizer and children's cutlery.

There is unusually large balcony; the biggest on the development, with sea views, which also look over the pool area. This balcony has its own entrance which is secured. The balcony has a table and chairs.

Leading up to the solarium, we are lucky again having one of the largest solariums, there is toledo, large table and chairs with unrestricted views of the sea and the pool. There is stone BBQ, sun loungers, shower and power point and table tennis. There are additional chairs, loungers and umbrellas to take to the beach or the pool.

El Pinar de San Gines is a much sought after development, and comes with many recommendations; people returning time after time. The areas pine tress are protected and add quintessence to an already Mediterranean vista. Added to this is the tree-lined promenade and safe shelving family beaches with warm clear waters.

This is a very relaxed area, you can take it easy, chill, or be active; the choice is yours. Either way you'll go home with a glow.

Casa Christina sleeps 6 plus child. There is car parking space. It is suitable for families and for couple's.

Suitability-no pets, no smoking in the property, no wheelchair access, car preferable but can pick up and drop off. Nearest airport Murcia, then Alicante, equivalent time is Almeria. We consider longer-term lets in the cooler months

We were fortunate to have had the first choice on our part of the development and having young and older children at the time and now grandchildren we wanted to make sure that our family would really enjoy coming back time after time, and so we have. We believe, and so do our family and many friends that have stayed in the apartment over the years, that we are fortunately situated in a special hidden gem and we are sure you will feel that same

Why Denis and Tina Pugh chose Cartagena

We chose this property really for its location and wonderful views; We still keep a picture of the exact spot where the apartment was to be built, and when it was finally finished we were not let down, and every time we visit we never get tired up of that marvellous view from our roof top made even better with the local wines and I might add cheeses. If this isn't enough you can watch the fisherman return with their catch and if you so desire go fishing yourself. Just enjoy the Spanish way of life like we do.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is home from home so you don't have to worry about things not being just so. This is a family home but with a difference, when you wake up in the morning the sun and sea are waiting, have breakfast on the balcony or on the solarium and enjoy the rest of the day in whatever way you please, just like we do.

Casa Christina is a fabulous place to stay!

This is a beautiful apartment which is well appointed and in a stunning location. The view from the roof terrace has great views of the bay - just wonderful watching the sunset in the evening with a glass of wine.

The swimming pool is accessible by a secure locked gate & is just a few yards away.

This apartment has everything a family needs to enjoy a brilliant holiday - go & see for yourself - I guarantee you will not be disappointed & you will definitely want to return! I will be!

FANTASTIC STAY

I have rented this apartment several times over the last few years and it is fantastic. Has a fabulous homely feel everything you could want for a wonderful family holiday. The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated, the beds are so comfortable and the air con is excellent. We stayed here this year with our two children now aged 7 & 11 they love this apartment and pool. You have a view of the pool area from the apartment and like the whole complex it is superbly maintained, it never feels busy even at peak times. The sea views from the balcony & roof terrace are spectacular,and we loved having a barbecue in the evening and watching the sun set. A short walk from the apartment and you are right on the beach. There are lots of lovely restaurants along the sea front and fantastic beach bars to enjoy during the day & in the evening. I would recommend this apartment and this area to anyone looking for a fantastic relaxing holiday. we are booked again for next year and think that says it all.

Casa Christina is home from home.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Casa Christina several times and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment as it is fully equipped, very comfortable with a homely feel, probably because it has been furnished by the owners for their own use and not just as a holiday let. The views from the solarium don't disappoint and it is a pleasant walk to the beach and restaurants. If you prefer to cook or BBQ the local produce is excellent - I recommend the gambos and I have to eat it whenever I visit. The pool and complex are maintained to a very high standard. If you fly to Mercia it is a easy drive to the resort and surrounding areas. I look forward to visiting again.

Casa muy completa, muy cuidada y con una terraza muy agradable. Las vistas geniales. Para ir a una playa familiar con arena y no piedras hay que ir en coche pero son 10 minutos en coche

Apartamento cómodo y completo para 6 personas

El apartamento de Denis y Tina es muy completo, no le falta ningún detalle para pasar unos días de vacaciones. Esta muy cuidado, tanto los muebles como los enseres y la ropa. Dispone de juguetes para los niños y muchos juegos, libros y ocio para los mayores. Los dueños también se han preocupado de poner a disposición de los visitantes mucha información y mapas de la zona. El solarium es una maravilla pues tiene ducha, barbacoa, tumbonas, mesa y sillas para pasar veladas muy agradables. La urbanización es muy tranquila y la piscina, junto a la casa, un lujo.

La playa es tranquila, nada peligrosa, el agua es cristalina y tiene bandera azul (todos los servicios). La vuelta de la playa es cuesta arriba y se hace un poco pesado aunque se puede ir en coche porque, en la misma playa, hay aparcamientos.

El apartamento esta preparado para 6 plazas máximo, 7 es mucho ya que no hay camas ( el 7º duerme en el sofá del salon) y las dimensiones de las habitaciones no son grandes.

Casa Christina is situated in El Pina San Gines, in the small fishing village of La Azohia Southern Spain Costa Calida; the area known as the warm coast, having one of the best climates in Europe.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the safe family-friendly beach which is equivalent to a Blue Flag and good for snorkelling.

Although quiet and peaceful in the cooler months, the village begins to bustle when temperatures warm and there are beach bars from April to October,. There is a great promenage/marine road that stretches around the bay of La Azohia to the next small village of Isla Plana. It's a great walk and for the fitter ones amongst us, cyle or jog.

There are seven bars/restaurants in walking distance around the bay, great for tapas, menu del dai, have a siesta and start again for an evening meal and good Rioja.

There is a small local shop for groceries, and a Pharmacy, a larger supermarket in Isla Plana. In Mazzaron there are three large supermarkets but it's well worth going to the fish market in Mazzaron; great for the BBQ. Also there is a large Sunday Market worth a visit, beware its gets busy.

Port Mazzarron is 10 minute drive with plenty of parking; an underground car park lies in the port/marina, where you will find a wide variety of bars, restaurants; the marina being the place to have a cocktail and watch the world go by.

The town of Mazzaron is reached by heading out of the port, the town has shops, a Town Hall, restaurants and a market.

Isla Plana has a great beach, restaurants and a social club which has a lovely setting and a meeting place for a chat, a drink and tapas, very busy on a Sunday.

The city of Cartagena is well worth a visit, approximately 25 minutes by car over the mountains or by motorway. You can park in the Port and watch the cruisers docking. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, it is place of history; there are museums, boat trips and plenty to see-remember, shops close around 2.00 pm and open at 5.00pm, and Sunday is a day of rest, so the shops tend to close but the restaurants are usually bustling.

Bolo Neuvo is about 10 minutes drive with restaurants, and an extensive beach. There are also plenty of beaches off the beaten track worth a visit.

There is golf available at numerous sites about half hour drive away.

There are other cities to visit such as Lorca, the holy city of Caravaca de la Cruz, most within a hours drive as well as the larger city of Mucia.

If you like activities, there are at least three diving schools in La Azohia, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing, horse riding near mazzarron and trekking at Espuna Park. Mini cruises are also available in the Port, just a few things to consider, or just carrying on reading that book!.

And what about the weather, well the area in not called the Warm Coast for nothing, it has over 300 days of sunshine a year, average temperatures in the winter are around 15 degrees and in the summer 28 degrees and over.

The sunsets here are second to none, you can watch this in the stress free oasis of the apartments sun roof whilst someone else makes the BBQ. Well you've earned it.
