Town of Provincetown Rental Certificate #842
We loved the layout of the house, lots of space & a great kitchen. We were very comfortable.
As always, we had a great vacation in the most magical place on earth. The house is great with multiple levels so you have privacy but also lots of space to hangout and chat or have dinner.
There are a number of decks, some small, some large on various levels and off each bedroom so you can all gather on one deck or have a quiet drink on the deck outside your room.
Beach is very close and so is the center of town.
You are about 100 yards away from the beach store where you can rent the best bikes in PTown from Danny and Jeff.
Can't wait for summer 2016....we'll be back !
Thanks Allan !
My partner and I (along with our 13-year old dog) stayed at this house for 5 days. We have been to Ptown many, many times over the past 30 years and this was our best stay yet. We have stayed in various lodgings and liked this house because of the high degree of privacy. We prefer quieter settings, so this was ideal. The house is within walking distance of the busy section of Commercial Street, but it is also far enough removed that you have all of the privacy and quiet that you want (if this is indeed what you want). The kitchen is awesome--fully stocked and a pleasure to cook in. There are lots of stairs (from one level to the next), so it may not be ideal for people or pets who can't take a lot of stairs. Also, the kitchen and living area are on the second floor, so you have to walk upstairs from the grill area to the kitchen. This was slightly awkward when we were grilling lots of food, but you quickly learn to adjust. The house is on a quiet (dead-end) street, so that also adds to the privacy. It was great that the owner provided sheets and towels; there also were beach towels and bicycles. The owner provided great customer service and everything was provided as stated in the description. Overall, a great Ptown rental.
This was my second time staying here, with a different set of friends, and it was just as great a home the second time around. The master bedroom is very roomy, and my friends were very happy with their rooms as well. The kitchen is large, and it was also nice to BBQ a couple of times on the patio. It's a very comfortable home, and on a very quiet street which we were particularly happy about. It's also nice to be a 10-minute walk to both town and the beach. Thanks again, Allan, for having us, we had a terrific time!
Very unique house and space. Large with plenty of privacy and space for groups of six or less. The house has everything you need for staying in or going out (beach chairs, umbrella, etc.) Great location to bike to town or to the beaches. The owner was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to our needs. We have stayed here two years now and hope perhaps to visit and stay again in the future. #large #private #quiet #clean #goodlocation #
We had a great stay at 1 Oppen Lane. The floor plan for this house is really cool. We had two families with two toddlers and the house worked out perfectly. The bedrooms were spacious, each with access to the outside. The main level of the house has an open floor plan with a huge kitchen and a wrap around back deck. The third floor is set up as a small office with desk and reclining chair. There was another little deck outside with water view in the far off distance. I would step out on this perch each night and look at the moon and breathe in the salty air before heading to bed. I miss this place already. Perfect location. Right by the bike shop. Perfect for entertaining the family and grilling out after a day at the beach. This is the fourth property in which we have stayed over our summers in Provincetown and we were really pleased. Allan, the owner, was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating as well.
Summer in the unique and beautiful town of Provincetown. The arts, shopping, fine dining are only the start. Within walking distance from this house are spectacular beaches, sand dunes, tidal marshes, cool forests, freshwater ponds and a network of bike trails. The Cape Cod National Seashore begins just a few hundred yards from this house. An eight-minute walk from this quiet west end neighborhood brings you to the hustle and bustle of Commercial Street.
