Seatowne is a small, quiet community of 39 homes located in Delaware's Fenwick Island State Beach/Park. It is surrounded by ocean and wetlands and is conveniently located to Ocean City, MD and Bethany and Rehoboth beaches. This 10 year old, spacious, 3600 sq ft home is one block from a wide sandy ocean beach and offers spectacular bay and ocean views. The home has an inverted floor plan with bedrooms and a sitting room on the first floor; a great room, kitchen / dining areas and a master suite located on the second floor. Decks (located on three sides), a screened porch offer prime viewing locations for sunsets and the wetlands. The home offers all conveniences (DW/AC/2 fireplaces) including 5 TVs, 3 DVD players and 2 VCRs and is very well equipped. Community tennis court and pier are available. Canoeing, kayaking and paragliding are available at a convenient state park location.
Have rented property for 15 years with no vacancies in summer months. Available for off season rentals too. Owners turn over property themselves (no cleaning crews) and are always present to meet guests to familiarize guests with property. Property always cleaned thoroughly by owners between rentals.

Close also to lots of entertainment venues for all of the family. Great golf nearby too. New tennis court in development. Community pier for crabbing, kayaking, canoeing, etc. Great, uncrowded beach within steps of property. Superb views of both bay and wetlands and ocean.
We've stayed at a number of HomeAway places and have been impressed every time. This was no exception ... it is exactly as promised! We had three generations in the place, and without exception everyone loved it. The teens and adults could walk over to the pier and go crabbing (which they did nearly every day and brought enough back to cook a bunch for lunch). The beach was right across the street and easily accessible. We played tennis just about every day. And it's just two miles to the center of Fenwick and about the same distance from Bethany.
From the porch, you could sit on a comfie chair with coffee and watch the sun rise in the morning. The gorgeous deck out back had plenty of space and chairs; we enjoyed toasting the sunset over the bay. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. We had 9 people, and the dining room table was plenty large enough to accommodate us. The family room was huge, allowing movie-watching, game-playing and reading/napping. No one ever felt crowded. We love to cook, and the kitchen had virtually every appliance and cooking utensil you'd need.
John and Mary made us feel right at home when we arrived, giving us the tour and telling us where to find everything. The outside grill, outside shower, the beach chairs and umbrella, etc. were also great additions. The house is beautifully decorated and super-clean ... but it's also inviting and you really do feel like it's your home away from home.

Delaware seashore location. All water sport activities readily available. Located close to major cities
(Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA and smaller cities, e.g. Wilmington, DE and Dover, DE). Many community festivals held throughout the year. The area is known for its many outstanding Golf Courses.
Other Activities: Lewes museums, Cape Henlopen and Primehook Nature Preserves.

One half of rent due upon making reservation. The remainder to be remitted upon check in.
