Beautiful cabin. Randy and Lora have created a cabin for relaxation and family time. Played games, talked, relaxed on the front porch, kicked a soccer ball in the back yard, watched movies and laughed so hard we cried. Many family memories were created. Enjoyed making meals and eating around the table (BTW...table has seating for 8...web page has different table and needs updating. We brought extra chairs but didn’t need them). Hot tub was perfect. Highly recommend this cabin. Fun things to do locally but do require some driving so plan ahead. Cherokee Heritage Center was very educational and interesting. Enjoyed hiking and driving through Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. Saw a beautiful bald eagle. Beaufiful area!
Even better than described!
This house was so nice! Roomy and rustic with a great homey atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and the property had everything we wanted and more. We wished we had rented it for longer! Definitely a grand find!
Clean, nice place. Great location
Nice, enjoyed our stay
The cabin was wonderful! Exactly like the pictures! Very inviting and comfortable.
Excellent Lake Cabin
This was a great place for getting together with a friend and his family. The place has a real lake cabin feel but with modern amenities. We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a 9 year old and had plenty of room. It lacks a lake view but makes up for it because it's only 5 minutes from Snake Creek and boat ramps to the lake. Can't say enough about how accommodating the owners are. We had lots of questions since it was our first time to stay here as well as some special requests. All were answered quickly! They even called to help our direction challenged friends find the house. This place is very relaxing, clean, with lots of inviting space. The huge master shower and 2 car garage are a bonus. We definitely plan to repeat our stay in the near future.
Week-end Visit to Lake Tenkiller
We arrived a little early and just happened to run into the owner, who was very friendly. We were very impressed with the size, amenities and cleanliness of the cabin. It was just a few minutes down the road to the Tenkiller State Park, grocery store and gas station. The deck is spectacular and we enjoyed sitting out in the late evening --- there were dear that came through the yard, which really surprised us! Also, the steps were perfect for stretching out on and looking up at the stars --- they were beautiful. The cabin is very close to the highway, which was a bit noisy at times when sitting on the deck, but you could not hear the highway when indoors. I would definitely recommend staying at the Little Lodge at Lake Tenkiller. We will be back next summer (if it is still available).
