Lahaina Shores Beach Resort 475 Front Street Lahaina, Hawaii 96761
A wonderful alternative to the fast paced expensive resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. A block by beach or side walk to historic Lahaina Town. Lahaina's only beach front property where restaurants, shops, and nightlife are just steps away. The water in front of Lahaina Shores is calm and protected by a reef, just perfect for swimming or water floats. No shark worries, either. Hang out on the beach, swim, snorkel, or enjoy the lawn, pool or hot tub. Simply the best place, best location, and best value.
Free high speed internet for our guests.: (but you must ask the Front desk for the access code)

About Carol Pranitch or Jane Martin
Just ordinary, hard working people who love Maui and specifically Lahaina Shores. Every year, we look forward to enjoying 5 weeks in our condo.

Why Carol Pranitch or Jane Martin chose Lahaina
More than 25 years ago we discovered Lahaina Shores and ever since we would not stay any where else. We jumped at the chance when the opportunity arose to purchase a condo there. We truly love this place, the awsome view, the convenience to Lahaina town, the friendly guests and staff, the atmosphere.

My Magnificent Maui Vacation
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful mountain view condo for 10 days and nights. The owners were great hosts and went above and beyond to accomodate every need. The murphy bed was awesome as it gave us added room and the full use of a living room during the day. It was very clean and nicely decorated in the Hawaiian theme with beautiful local art. The added bonus of the many music CD's was much enjoyed and there is a large library of current DVD video's as well. (We didn't watch any because we were too busy having fun.) I felt more like a guest in someone's home than a client in a hotel. There is an abundance of kitchen essentials, big, fluffy towels, comfy pillows, everything you could think of and more. The convenience of this codo was also a huge plus. The Lahaina Shores is within a 15-20 minute walk to anywhere in Lahaina, no car is necessary and it takes 5 minutes to get downtown. The town is wonderful, I much prefer it to Ka'anapali. There is beautiful local and international art galleries, wonderful restaurants, nightlife, every shop imaginable without being cheesy and touristy. Do Banyan Tree Park - stunning, plus art/craft festivals on Weekends. Most amazing, watching the Humpback Whales play all day long right from the resort. I highly recommend you come here during whale season (mid-Dec to end of April). Do a whale watch tour, also fabulous Luau's - we did Feast at Lele`. Expensive, but well worth every penny - Also it is right next to the resort so if you have one too many Maitai's or Pina Colada's from the free open bar, you merely need to stumble a few feet to get back. Also, snorkeling was at Molokini was great, swiming with the Sea Turtles at Olawalu - fabulous!!! (my personal favorite). Definitely see concierge MK or Anushka to get the best deals for tours - they'll tell you the best ones for your needs & will save you money. Don't forget to ask for coupons - lots of 2 for 1 dining deals & free deserts. If you do bring a car, drive the coast - stunning, visit the Iao valley - see the Iao needle - breathtaking. Of course Haleakala Crater & Road to Hana - highly recommended, we never did do either of those - that's ok, something to go back for. One caveat! Very limited parking - if you rent a car, be aware. Convenient if travelling away from the town but not needed locally. If we go back, (and we plan to), I wouldn't stay anywhere else. My personal little secret, and now yours too.
Relaxing Stay in Lahania
Great little condo for a perfect ladies get away. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals, relax out on the deck, and watch the clouds form on the mountain. Lahaina Shores is the only real "resort" in the area and is just a short walk into town for shopping, dinner, yoga, etc. Such a great option if you don't want to be packed in with the giant resort complexes and want more of a local vibe. The pool, hot tub, and calm beach were the icing on the cake. If you are a light sleeper be aware that the street noise in the morning can be a little loud.
very comfortable. nice location
Paradise in a beautiful spot of Maui
This place is just in the right spot of Lahaina. A short walk onto Front Street where there are great restaurants and music. It is right on the ocean - the beach is lovely and the water is warm and we swam in it everyday. The condo is perfect for a couple and is all updated. It has a nice new kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable murphy bed and free wifi.
Many choices available, but this is the unit that you want.
We just returned from three weeks at Lahaina Shores, staying at Jane and Carols condo. We have stayed at Lahaina Shores numerous times in the last few years. We enjoy staying in Lahaina, although we have traveled all over the island. Arguments can be made for staying in Kaanapali, Napili, or Wailea for their beaches, but we return to Lahaina each time for its convenience, restaurants, and easily accessible activity. It is great to be able to walk each evening to a different restaurant, and not bother with a car. Paia Fish Market recently opened another of their restaurants right down the street from the condos. Do yourself a favor and have their Seafood Food Pasta. The night life and activity down Front Street are a great way to spend the evenings. We are active avid travelers and know that it is the little things that often make a difference in your comfort and enjoyment. Many of the condos at Lahaina Shores are fairly similar in furnishings and amenities. You can tell that Jane and Carol take pride in their property, it shows in the small and big things. The furnishings are clean and well kept. Although it is not an ocean view, the mountain view in the morning and evening are beautiful. Extra pillows, clean linens, well appointed kitchen all add to the comfort you will find here. One of the amenities that make this unit stand out, is the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is modern, with all you need for preparing your own meals (we did). The bathroom is the nicest we have found in any of the units. They have a wonderful shower, very large with adequate hot water. When in paradise we tend to take more showers each day, just due to sun screen and salt water. It was a pleasure to step into each time. Jane and Carol are responsive and easy to work with in planning. When staying as long as three weeks, it is easy to find disappointments. We were happy with the quality and care of everything. The one thing that was missing that we had found in other units, were beach toys such as sand chairs, boogie boards, and the such. We bought two small sand chairs and a new boogie board, which we left in the closet for the next guests. (You can discount our bill next time Carol, because we will definitely be back). Thanks for sharing your slice of paradise. Byron & Shelley
We stayed five weeks, and this has become our favorite lodging on Maui. This unit was remodeled last year, and is beautiful. It is among the minority which feature murphy beds. The murphy bed is for us a distinct advantage - it converts the bedroom into a living room with an easy lift onto the wall. And I do mean easy. It is perfectly balanced.
The fridge is new and huge. I learned to love the glass cooktop. Tip: never let oil cook on. Wipe it off immediately.
The Lahaina Shores has become our favorite after 30 years of staying in Kaanapali. We don't even get a rental car. I make a daily walk to Foodland, as much for exercise and to see wacky Front street as to provision. The West Maui mountain view is spectacular in the setting sun - and the unit does not become blazing hot in the afternoon.
For the computer facile, the Samsung widescreen TV can be tuned to Pandora, Netflix, Youtube and more.
The Lahaina Shores faces onto a sandy beach and crystal clear water behind a protective reef which explains the lack of surf on the beach, perfect for small pre-surfers.
just do it all or nothing at all
