About Christie Baglio
Our family is from Rochester, NY. Christie and Nick have been married since 2005. We have three young boys that keep us busy between school activities and sports. Our family enjoys getting outdoors- hiking, swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, etc. We also enjoy traveling, movies, and art. Nick is an electrician and Christie is a former elementary teacher and now stays home with the boys and cares for other children.

Why Christie Baglio chose Wolcott
Our family purchased this property in June 2018. We fell in love with the location on the water along with the privacy this property offers, including that feeling of serenity our cozy cottage brings to us. Our boys have fun playing in the spacious yard and marsh area, going out on the boat to explore the shores of Lake Ontario and finding new swimming spots and beaches in the area. We know our family (and yours!) will make plenty of memories here.
What makes this Cottage unique
We are happy to be on a quiet river outlet of Port Bay, so we can boat, kayak, fish, enjoy s’mores by the fire, sip coffee on the deck, catch lightening bugs, and still have a quiet, private experience. If you have a boat, you can dock it at the cottage during the week. The cottage is an hour away from where we live, so it is an ideal location to feel away from it all but also not too far, either!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is very clean, property well maintained. An air conditioner and fans kept the cottage cool even when temperatures outside rose to over 90 degrees. We appreciated being able to cook light meals in the kitchen to avoid going out multiple times a day.
We hiked Chimneys Bluff, visited several local restaurants and had a fabulous day at Fairhaven beach. Kayaking in Port Bay was a favorite activity for all of us. Communication with the owner was clear and our security deposit was refunded quickly.
We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful and Private!!
We had such a great time at this cozy cottage. It was very private with the use of a fire pit, grill, kayaks, beautiful view of the lake and plenty of space right outside our front door. This cottage was equipped with everything you can possibly need for a nice getaway including DVDs, puzzles and games for a nice evening in. There were plenty of condiments for cooking and toiletries if you forgot anything. There is a deck right beside the grill to have your meals outdoors while enjoying the peaceful lake scenery. The bedrooms were cozy. We took day trips to Sodus Point, Palmyra and Seabreeze Waterpark in Rochester all within an hour’s drive. Supermarket was only 10 minutes away which was extremely convenient. All in all we had a wonderful vacation and made many memories. The home owner Christie responded right away with any questions we had. Our only one regret was not staying longer.
Nice home. Nice yard. Kayaks great. Games. Near local activities.
We had fun as a relaxing place to gang out. It was great to take the kayaks out on the lake. They also had all the necessities in the kitchen including spices and cooking oil we forgot. There are board games and DVD for a rainy day. We enjomoviesfew activities to highlight although a half hour away we took trip to the drive in movies, Miami golf, and locally to wineries which were beautiful. At night we made a campfire which was easy. Just a heads up no AC but there are fans. Thanks for a nice stay.
