On entry to this 2nd floor apartment - you have a large lounge/living area. The large lounge area has large comfy double sofabed and arm chair and dining area. You have access to the terrace through double doors to a west facing terrace which is very rare in old town - giving views over the local streets and opportunity for sunbathing and outside dining - with table and 4 chairs and 2 relaxing chairs. There is a large flat screen TV and Dvd, Sat Tv (with english news channels) and internet/Wifi access.Upstairs (approx 12 stairs to climb) is the bedroom area - which has double bed and 2 bedside cabinets - the bedroom is very quiet and has full quality toshiba air conditioning unit - please note stairs are quite steep (like ship stairs)Off the lounge area is the bathroom room with bath/shower, basin and WC.American style kitchen which has hob, oven and fridge and dishwasher and cooking utensils. This is apartment has been really freshly modernized and has a charming and sunny aspect - perfect for a couple that wants to enjoy the old town - with the added benefit of a great terrace. It has double glazing and new air conditioning system in bedroom and living room.
Location is perfect. In Place Garibaldi.Specially for those who go for Meetings.
Apartment is cozy, wide, clean and private.
The entrance is modest, by stairs, but inside is an oasis.
Very good wifi.
The best part is the efficiency and kindness of managers. Everything was exactly as promoted.
Comunication with Family Manion is fluid and they are always available by mail.
I recommend the extra service of taxi driver Philippe picking you up at the airport with a Van Mercedes and giving you the keys on hand. (Also help you to find the door) On your way back he take you to the airport and you just give the keys to him.
In a one min walking distance you have the glamour of the best Oysters of Nice at the cafe Le Turin, and the charme of a tipical and modest home made resto for a pizza or local dishes at the small Le Provencal, kindly served by his owner Sassi. He will seat with you for chating if you are alone.
You have a taxi stop downstairs, and troleys in the corner. I rented a Scooter at the rue rivoli, close to hotel negresco. Do not rent a car.
I felt like home in Rue Neuve
Rue Neuve was exactly as described no disappointment and so comfortable in a brilliant location for food travel and local supermarket at doorstep. Will definitely return. Nice and coast amazing loved it and ease of travel to Monaco Menton just ridiculously cheap and easy.
This is a lovely and cosy 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old town of Nice - with a bright west facing terrace (afternoon sun)
