This detached HH Guest House is separated from the owner’s main house by a series of terraces planted with over 30 olive trees, ornamental plants, vegetables, herbs, roses, and California redwoods. Your secluded accommodations are private and are not shared with the property owners or other guests – including a private driveway (two car maximum). The house features a deluxe king bed, state-of-the-art kitchen (which includes refrigerator, gas stove, Kurig coffee maker, microwave), contemporary bath (featuring complimentary toiletries), seating area, outdoor café table & chairs, free Wi-Fi, full house stereo system, tv (with streaming services), AC/heat, two spa robes, luxurious bed linens and bath towels.

Sonoma County is home to more than 425 wineries, many of which are an easy drive from the Guest House. The property is within an easy fifteen-minute drive of approximately twenty five wineries in the greater Santa Rosa, Kenwood, and Glen Ellen communities. These include highly revered producers such as En Garde, Chateau St. Jean, Landmark, and Matanza’s Creek. Downtown Santa Rosa is home to a thriving brewery culture including the Russian River Brewing Company and its sought after “Pliney the Younger”. Some of Napa Valley’s top wineries are a short thirty minute drive away; these include Chateau Montelena, Schramsberg Vineyards, Von Strasser Winery, and Beringer. Calistoga (Napa) is also home to lovely spas and resorts like Solage and the soon-to-open Four Seasons. The short drive to Healdsburg’s Dry Creek Valley and Chalk Hill regions offer top Zinfandel producers like Mauritson, Comstock, and Williams Selyem. West Sonoma county and the towns of Sebastapol and Petaluma are a 20-30 minute drive away and feature excellent dining, unique shopping, vintage/thrift shops, artisanal bakeries, some of the region’s finest dairies and cheese makers.

These include Hood Mountain Regional Park, Spring Lake Regional Park (seasonal boat rentals), Tione-Annadel State Park, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, and historic Jack London State Park. Boating on nearby Lake Sonoma as well as paddling or tubing on the Russian River will round out your visit.
