Excellent séjour dans une très agréable villa

  • 5 of 5

Awesome villa in Lucca

  • 5 of 5

The villa is "splendida" indeed, a typical ancient Tuscany house with all the comforts you may need, exactly as described, in a peaceful area but very close to many touristic places. Sabrina is very nice and kind: she gave us very clear indications to reach the villa and when we got there she explained to us everything we need to know about the house and the neighborhood. We had a really good time and I do recommend it!

Villa Viola was wonderful

  • 5 of 5

Villa Viola was everything that was advertised. We spend a lot of evenings sitting on the deck enjoying the privacy of the five acres and views of the hills. It is just a couple miles outside the busy center of Lucca, which made it very easy to enjoy the city, then be in our own private estate when we wanted to escape.

Sabrina was a great hostess and provided everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. She even found bicycle routes for me, which is above the call of duty, and her English is perfect.

You won't regret renting Villa Viola!

Fabulous holiday home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful holiday in this fantastic property near Lucca - a stunning house in a beautiful location, with lots of space inside, and a beautiful (and huge) garden. A/C in the master bedroom was very welcome in the summer heat! Excellent support from the proprietor both before and during the visit. Very highly recommended and would definitely return!

A splendid stay outside of Lucca

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for nearly two weeks and had a very nice time.

Downtown Lucca is only a 10-15 minute drive and it was easy to get to the highway, the supermarket, and some great local restaurants (I recommend la Cecca right down the street as well as La Griglia del Mare on the way to downtown Lucca).

The villa itself has plenty of kitchen supplies, comfortable beds, ample space, good-working wi-fi, and Sabrina was very helpful and attentive whenever any problems arose.

Overall, the villa met all of our needs and we hope to return there very soon.

Beautiful property,perfect Tuscan location

  • 5 of 5

We spent five weeks at the villa, relaxing in the pretty gardens surrounded by fruit trees, an olive grove, mature herb plantings, even red and white grapes growing against the villa walls. It was truly our idea of all Tuscany should be. The music, art and shops of Lucca are just minutes away by car. We used the villa as our base and took extended trips to Portofino, Cinque Terre, Volterra, the Garfagnana and a dozen other magnificent Italian destinations within a 2 or 3 hour drive, or less. The property has been nicely updated and the few minor repairs that were needed during our stay were taken care of immediately thanks to Sabrina, a highly professional and client-focused property manager. (The beds were very comfortable.)
