Why Chris chose
IT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE because we offer so much more! With hotels being choked out by state and federal regulations, they are being forced to add ridiculously high "taxes and fees" ON TOP of your quoted nightly price. They're delightfully calling it a hospitality tax. Laymen refer to it as a bed tax, but logic knows it as a business killer. So why stay at a local hotel with a single room? For just a few dollars more per night you can make your business trip or weekend getaway so much more memorable in one of my cabins.

Ma & Pa getaway!
This place was just what we needed to have a little mom and dad time away from the family! Missed our kids after a couple of days! Definitely will return someday! Great place for sure!!
The cabin was very cozy and very clean! This made for a nice romantic getaway to sit by the fire, sip some wine, and just relax. Only negative is the tap water had a bit of a strange smell, but the host provided a big jug of bottled water for the fridge. Would definitely come back to this cabin again!
Convenient & Kitschy at ADK Foothills
The host was accommodating; although the dates on the VRBO calendar were wrong and we couldn’t stay the last night we needed to. I was looking for a place with an indoor fireplace, and this cabin didn’t have. It was one of those fake ones you could only turn on for 1/2 hour. My two other complaints: the cabin was split in two and there was a family staying on the other side with kids & paper thin walls. And, it was on a main road with noisy trucks & cars, esp in the morning. Didn’t really feel like a cabin in the woods. That said, it was super clean and accommodating and Chris was very nice. Hot tub was a really nice feature.
Great Get Away
This cabin is absolutely beautiful and Chris has thought of absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing get away. The hubby and I will be back in the future for sure!
Overall the property was beautiful.lack of communication with management was an issue tho.
Property is nice, hot tub is great had several tv issues and electrical issues during the stay. The owner(s) made attempts to fix issues and were pleasant to work with.
