This apartment is located in the beautiful and new high class resort of Del Mar Village. It is newly purchased and newly furnished but a detail for luxury and comfort. The resort is located right on the waters edge, with an exceptional sea view across the Ria Formosa National Park. With its secured gates, you can spend your holidays in a private and tranquil way. With the beautiful infinity pool and sunbathing deck overlooking the sea, Del Mar Village offers you exceptional accommodation.

The apartment is located at ground floor level.

It is a spacious two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. Both bedrooms have a large double bed, air conditioning, plenty of storage and a beautiful bathroom. Both are furnished with detail for luxury. If you enter the apartment you will immediately see a wonderful open pal arrangement. The kitchen is equipped with top of the range appliances. The living space is both comfortable and functionable (including a sleeper couch).

On the terrace you can enjoy the uninterrupted views of the sea and Fuseta Island. Its a wonderful place to enjoy the scenery and relax.

In the underground garage you can find 4 bikes and a canoe at your disposal.

Stunning views - lovely apartment

Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean apartment - comfortable beds and sofa. Great service from the onsite manager and good communication with the owner. Fantastic views, peaceful location - just perfect for a quiet break, nice balcony for eating al fresco, walking distance to a lovely sandy beach, cafes and simple fish restaurants.

Please be warned

Please be warned before booking this apartment. that the owner kept our deposit for no valid reason. He claims the apartment took 8 hours to clean after we left as apposed to the usual 3. It is simply untrue or if they did take eight hours to clean the flat, it was not as a consequence of anything we did. A few shells were left in one of the bedrooms, on the floor, it would have taken a few minutes to clear them. That is the only item he said he then goes on to insult me saying that he expects that we usually don't get our deposits back. Again this is untrue, not that I need to justify myself to him.

I have several complaints that I would now like to raise with the property.

1 Our parking spot was never determined we were asked to use an alternative spot and then that one was taken. We resorted to parking on the road side. This was unsettling and unsatisfactory.

2 I found the staff unfriendly and intolerant towards children

3 When several electrical items were used at once the electric cuts off. This was incredibly inconvenient when cooking dinner and spoilt two meal times.

4 This is probably the most serious matter, a very expensive ipad disappeared during our stay. We reported this before leaving. All four of us remember leaving the ipad on the table. It was not there on our return and never turned up.

5 The smoke alarm went off whilst I was cooking. This alone is possibly acceptable. However the amount of time it took to turn it off was not, again spoiling another meal time.

6 Before departing for our holiday Stephan took a considerable amount before he responded to my questions.

7 We were unable to use the very cold pool due to the the dead insects floating on the surface.

8 there were several ants in one of the bedrooms when we arrived.

I wrote a small text in front of each item. 1. They came at 4:00am and I took them to garage and show them the parking space which they could use. 2. A couple of days later, Vanda and I saw several objects (food and clothes) laying on the floor and lots of clams shells and sand on the bed of guest bedroom. 3. Teresa went to clean the apartment and said that someone was sleeping in the sofa and she couldn't open it. I went to see and there was an Ipad laying on the sofa. 4. The day before their departure she had the incident with the smoke alarm. According to José Carlos all the apartment was full of smoke. 5. On the check out day I went to see them. She apologized for being rude with the sms but she was under a stress situation. And said that a purple flip flop and an ipad were missing (there was one with a black case on the floor). But very honestly she didn't seem very worried and said something about an insurance. 6. They check out about 11:00. 7. Teresa staying till late afternoon and said all needed to be washed - she left the glasses on bleach and they were still orange. All the pots were cleaned and all the cupboards in and out. So, in different occasions, all Del Mar team were in the apartment (with exception to Shirley - with whom they got information about buying an apartment in DM). I would not give the money back - They were very dirty renters. Kindest regards. Sónia

Lovely setting . Fuseta is a beautiful place

Great property . Lovely appartment . Have been coming to Fuseta for a while now . Facilities excellent exactly as described . Would say accommodation is more child tolerant than child friendly . Was only looking at the pool on first day when instructed by one resident lady of the no jumping into pool rule and to respect noise levels and the need to shower before entering . Didn't even have a towel at this point only having a look on way to get a coffee . Just what a 7 and a 10 year old wanted to hear on their first day on holidays - she scared the bejazus out of them . She took it upon herself to enforce the rules to the letter even when not justified and on one occasion walked down from her apartment overlooking the pool to make her point when having a quick dip at night. (No actual rules against evening swimming - she just didn't like it personally). The decking around the pool led to many a splinter if you did not wear appropriate footwear. Had it not been for this I would have given it 5 stars as the apartment itself and location are amazing but it took the shine off it for us so maybe think twice if you are looking for a family apartment with younger children who like to have fun in the swimming pool on holiday.

1st Class Wow Factor

This was our first stay in Fuseta and can honestly say we will definitely be back. Its a very 'un spoilt' potugese fishing village full of character and welcoming people. There is a small beach very close by with the larger beach a 5 minute ferry ride away - both beaches are Beautifull!!

Our accomodation was walking distance to all amenities ie. Shops/ bars/ restaurants/ beaches etc. The quality of the accomodation was quite outstanding with the views over the Ria Formosa quite superb.

Would highly recommend this property 😄

Wat een geweldig uitzicht in een prachtig appartment. Zo zou ik iedere dag wel wakker willen worden.

We hebben echt genoten. Een heerlijk appartement op een pracht lokster in een leuk vissers plaatsje.Ook van de fietsen in de garage hebben we gebruik gemaakt en dat geeft een meerwaarde. We zijn naar Tavira gefietst

We komen heeeel graag nog eens terug.

Beautiful modern apartment but pool too cold (Oct)

The property was very clean, modern and very nicely furnished and had everything you need (although this was not the apartment shown here as there had been a flood in that one, so we were given another one, which we were told was as good or better than this one). The development is attractive but we felt the Eastern Algarve was a little run-down. Fuseta was not bad and the 'town beach' was lovely but the town does have a slightly rough feel to it. We left two days early as the pool (which looked amazing) was just too cold to swim in. Our children did try to be brave and got in a couple of times but could comfortably stay in and swim. We did not realise the pool would not be heated (we were there mid October) and wanted the children to be able to swim lots every day, so we booked another property with a heated pool and we had a great week there. We feel it would have helped us to choose a suitable property if the description had stated that the pool is not heated. Our children were so disappointed when they realised they were not going to be able to swim, as this was their main aim for the holiday!
