About the property

New apartment; 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom with sea and mountain views.

This new apartment was purchased in January 2014. It has views of the communal swimming pool of the complex. The terrace on the south-west and is equipped with a luxury garden furniture with 4 adjustable chairs with comfortable cushions. The table can be extended for additional space.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a double box spring including pillow-top mattress (160 x 200 cm) and has an ensuite bathroom with bath / shower, toilet and sink.

The other bedroom has two twin box springs including mattress toppers (90x 200 cm).

The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.

Both bedrooms are equipped with bedding and both bathrooms have several sets of towels.

The well-equipped kitchen is next to a dishwasher, oven, washer / dryer, fridge and freezer, a toaster, coffee maker and juicer.

In the living room is a dining table for 4 and a seating area.

You can use the satellite on the 40 inch plasma screen all received Dutch channels and some foreign channels.

We offer free Wi-Fi during the stay!

In the parking garage has a private parking lot and you have access to the garage which is located in the garage. Ideal for your empty suitcases, air mattresses email. d. in place. From the apartment you can easily come here by elevator. This garage is situated next to a cot and a highchair, also the necessary toys. All this is free for use by the youngest among us!

The complex is surrounded and protected.

The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the beach, bars, restaurants, shops, supermarket, banks and other amenities.

In May 2015, there is a beautiful new supermarket opened within 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment. The range is great and every morning are freshly baked bread. There is also a wide assortment of vegetables, fruits, fillings etc. With the potent thing in the box below, you can get so fine it all. And in the summer, this seven days a week from 0900-2200 hours. Outside the high season are different times.

In the village there is a bus stop from where buses depart to include Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus etc.

Lovely clean and modern apartment very comfortable beds and apartment has everything you would need for a fab holiday owner Mandy was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with my son enjoyed the pool no problem getting somewhere to sunbathe either and Aldi was so handy for fresh bread would highly recommend staying in this apartment thanks again Mandy x

Very good new appartment.Close to everything.

We are a Norwegian , retired couple, used to travel in Spain and other contries. We stayed 4 weeks in this appartment. We liked the style of the decor , the practical and nice furniture , and the beds was very good. Lots of space for your wardrobe. Since everything was rather new , all tecnical applienses worked fine.It was nice and clean at arrivial. Everything was as expected , and we had a very pleasent dialog with the owner all the way.

We used 12 minutes to nearest Supermarked in La Cala ( walking )

Pool was nice and kept clean. Not overcrowed at any time.

From the terrasse we overlooked La Cala , the sea and the golf course.

La Cala is a small village , but you get all you need there , lots of resturants of all kinds. If you want more big city feeling , jump on the bus to Fungeriola ( 10 min. drive ) or go to Marbelle ( 40 min. drive ) Buses go every 30 min.

We would recommend this appartment to anyone asking our opinion, including friends and family.

Zeer tevreden.

Vanaf mijn 1e kennismaking met Mandy had ik al een goed gevoel. Er moet wederzijds vertrouwen zijn als je een appartement huurt van mensen die je totaal niet kent. Ik moet zeggen dat we hier met heel correcte mensen hebben kunnen werken.

We hebben een schitterende vakantie gehad in een zeer mooi appartement wat volledig aan onze verwachtingen heeft voldaan. Het appartement was inderdaad op loopafstand van het strand en het centrum.

Hopelijk is het volgend jaar weer vrij in de periode als wij kunnen gaan.

Mooi appartement in fijne omgeving

Het appartement voldoet volledig aan de beschrijving zoals ze is gegeven op de website.

Het is smaakvol en heel volledig ingericht en de bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit.

De garage aan het appartement is ook heel praktisch.

La Cala de Mijas is een aangenaam, authentiek badstadje, in vergelijking met de grotere badsteden die er rond liggen. Een leuke plek om te zijn.

De aanwezigheid van de Aldi vlakbij (met lekker vers brood en verse groenten en fruit) is ook heel praktisch.

Het contact met de eigenaars is heel vlot en correct verlopen. Super fijne mensen om mee te handelen.

We zouden zes sterren geven mocht het zwembad verwarmd geweest zijn.

Top appartement op loopafstand van het strand !

Het appartement is echt helemaal top. Het is volledig ingericht, er ontbreekt niets. De inrichting is keurig en sfeervol. Ook de bedden zijn perfect!

Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van het strand, de winkels en het dorpje Mijas, waar genoeg restaurantjes te vinden zijn.

Ook de omgeving biedt voor ieder wat wils.

Kortom een super locatie voor een fijne vakantie. En tot slot de communicatie met de eigenaar gaat snel is is uiterst correct!

Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a local market. This is located on the large parking lot across from the apartment complex. A nice market next to fruit and vegetables, also clothes and other fun stuff. At the same parking available in the summer carnival and the circus instead.


La Cala de Mijas has 4 supermarkets. Lidl, do you take the paralelweg running along the car park, after a few kilometers you will find this on the right. Supersol, it is within walking distance in the village. This is smaller and also the most expensive of the three. Mercadona, which is located on the outskirts of the village (go past the Supersol and turn left at the roundabout, go under the overpass and arrive at roundabout from below) This supermarket is very spacious and the range is very large. The prices are good and you can buy fresh seafood here. And of course the Aldi next to the apartment building itself, opened in May 2015 and there is plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and freshly baked bread in the morning.


Costa del Sol is often referred to as Costa del Golf, with over 30 golf courses. Mijas is known for its specific 'championships courses' high level; Mijas Golf, Mijas Los Lagos, El Chaparral Golf, just to name a few. Opposite the apartment is the La Noria Golf Resort.


El Pikoteo, this is in the village and here you can be part of the Spanish population, which here'd come together for lunch. On the other side of the property, you can, in addition to inside, too cozy in a narrow street eat outside.

Something the mountains, you find the restaurant "Venta el Jinete". This case is a must! The staff is set very service oriented, speaks good English and the food is good. In summer you can sit outside and the view is incredibly beautiful.

Wok Costa del Sol, opposite the clubhouse of La Noria golf resort and so a few minutes walk from the apartment, there is a wok restaurant. A good option if you want a something different to eat nearby.


Of course the beach, attraction number one. Mijas has several beaches, the largest in La Cala and Calahonda.

Would you go to a beach which is run by a real Spanish family? go to Chiringuito Arroyo. You can rent beach beds and also served on the beach in high season. There is a terrace where you can have lunch. Many Spaniards like to come here. The people here are very friendly and the service is excellent! The price / quality is good.

We definitely recommend the sardines to fish from baker Luis!

Besides the above beach club there is in the town square also a great beach bar where it is gorgeous!

Along the boulevard also several playgrounds so that the little ones can enjoy themselves.

Excursions / day trips / sights

Mijas Pueblo, the white village is known for its handicrafts and art shops. From every corner of this village offers spectacular views of the coast and mountains. The narrow streets and pleasant squares are lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. A ride on the donkey taxis is a must.

In this white village has a lot of monuments such as the Sanctuario de la Virgin de la Pena, founded in 1586 as a vision of the Virgin Mary appeared miraculously here. The Plaza de Toros is the local Bullfighting arena, which is bizarrely oval and opened in 1900. Every Sunday here still bullfights during the summer. Two churches are also worth seeing.

From Mijas is a trip to Ronda or Gibraltar a well filled day trip. The town of Ronda has three major bridges that cross the river Guadaleví and deep El Tajo gorge.

Puerto Banus; a luxury port along the Mediterranean coast of Spain which is famous for its upscale shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

Marbella, Marbella town is still seen as a fashionable seaside resort in the Costa del Sol. There are many elegant restaurants and luxury shops. Those who want to do something else also has plenty of choice in this fantastic beach resort. Think of a Buggy Safari or visit the old historic center.

Malaga, a beautiful city with lots of history. View include the Picasso museum and combine this with a visit to El Pimpi, a nice bodega to agree to go. Of course Malaga also has plenty to offer stores.

For the children a trip to Tivoli Gardens, near Torremolinos or the aqua park Fuengirola always a hit. The cluster / zoo in Fuengirola, in the center of the city is great and cute. A visit to the Dolphinarium in Benalmadena for children fun.
