Detached, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sunny Balcony, Private Garden

The detached chalet has 3 bedrooms. One with a double bed and door opening out on to the private garden. Another bedroom with two single beds. The third bedroom is equipped with bunks. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and shelves. Baby cot available. Both bathrooms have a shower, basin and toilet (installed in 2014 and 2015).

Upstairs is a large living, dinning and kitchen area. The dinning area can seat up to 10 people and looks out on to the mountains. The living room is complete with a 32 inch TV and cable TV (300 channels). Wireless ADSL-internet connection is available everywhere in the house. Bose sound doc for I-pod is available. Small library (with adults and children's books) and children's games.

The kitchen is fully equipped with combination micro-wave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, raclette, fondue etc. From the living room you can access a private sunny terrace equipped with chairs and table. The chalet also has a washing machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

4 minutes walk from the nearest supermarket, 1 minute to nearest restaurant and 2 minutes to the bakery. In the winter a free courtesy shuttle bus is available for transport to the ski lifts (every 20 minutes). 10 minutes walk into the town centre. 2 minutes walk to the car park. 2 minutes walk to a wonderful children's play area and park.

As from May 2016 we are happy to advise that we will be able to offer our guests access to the Citizen Pass by providing 4 passes free of charge for use during your stay. These passes allow free travel on most of the Saas cable ways in the summer plus other discounts in the summer and winter.

Lovely wee chalet in a great location

We had a fantastic holiday staying in this chalet, 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Lovely views to wake up to, and a short walk to the bus station, the Hannig cable car and the Alpin Express, or just in to the town, made getting about really easy. The lady in the bakers shop closest to the chalet was so nice and easily understood my jumble of German, French and English that we went there most days. The chalet itself was beautifully furnished and the kitchen well fitted out, even having nice sharp knives which is a benchmark for me. The bedrooms were a little short on floor space but we were either out or upstairs so it didn't matter, we only went there to sleep and the beds were really comfy. Karen, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful, answering all sorts of questions for me before our arrival, and Colin, the chalet manager, met us at the bus station upon our arrival to show us to the chalet. The Citizens Passes were a huge bonus for travelling around but note that at the time of writing there were only 4 of them so we paid half price for our youngest (14) to go on the buses and cable cars...need to take ID with you.

Nettes Chalet, gute Lage und super Ausstattung

Das Chalet liegt eingebettet im ruhig gelegenem Wildi, Ortteil von Saas Fee. Die Auststattung entspricht den Angaben und es fehlt an nichts. Es ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Hausübergabe klappte problemlos. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und würden es jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Great location, good value for family

We had a great summer week in the Pearl of the Alps.

This chalet provides great value for a family of 4 to 6 seeking a freestanding house at an affordable rate. We are a family of 5, with children of 1year, 4 and 5 years old.

We had the citizens pass included (4) and this allowed us to take cableways (which are quite stunning in Saas-Fee) for free all week. This fact alone in Zermatt would cost you a fortune:-)

The mountain stations all have great playgrounds and small walks are possible with stunning views.

The chalet itself is very good located, at the edge of Saas-fee, in a very quite area but close enough to all facilities.

It has enough space for a family, even 2 bathrooms.

Only the kitchen is quite small (2 pits for cooking), but for a one week stay no problem as after all you come to enjoy the mountains.

We would book again straight away!

Fantastisches Chalet in Saas Fee, super Gegend!

Wir können dieses herrvorragend, liebevoll und qualitativ hochstehend eingerichtete Chalet in bester Lage in Saas-Fee nur mit gutem Gewissen herzlichst weiterempfehlen! Der Ausblick auf die Berge ist herrlich!

Wir hatten einen mehr als zufriedenstellenden Familienurlaub Ende Januar 2015. Das Objekt ist mit den 3 Schlafzimmern bestens geeignet für z.B. 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder wie in unserem Falle.

Alles war vorhanden; und mit "alles" meine ich wirklich alles!

Von Waschmaschine, Geschirrspühler, über Kochutensilien bis hin zum Fondue Caquelon und Racclettegrill. Das Haus ist ideal und in der sonnigsten Gegend des Dorfes gelegen. In perfekter Gehweite zum öffentlichen Parkhaus und örtlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Haltestation Elektrobus).

Im Untergeschoss sind die 3 Schlafzimmer und ein WC mit Dusche und im oberen Stock ein heimeliges Wohnzimmer mit TV Flatscreen (Swisscom TV) und ausreichend eingerichteter kleiner Küche mit allem was man so braucht und einem kleinen Wirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine, Lavabo usw..

Ein gut funktionierendes Wifi gibt es ebenfalls und jeder Raum ist mit einem Heizkörper ausgestattet. Die Wohnfläche war nicht übertrieben gross, aber für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt!

Die Vermieterin war in der Korrespondenz immer sehr freundlich und die Buchung klappte problemlos. Ausnahmslos alles was ver- und besprochen wurde, wurde auch gewissenhaft eingehalten. Ein Kinderbett und Kinderhochstuhl ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Irgendwie hatten wir das beruhigende Gefühl, dass an alles gedacht wurde für ein tolles Ferienchalet (wie z.B. Gebührensäcke für Abfall, Infoordner über den Ferienort, Duschtücher etc.)

Also dieses Haus kann ohne Bedenken gebucht werden!

Saas Fee offers some of the finest year round skiing and snow boarding in the Swiss Region and was voted Best Swiss Ski Resort in 2012. Saas-Fee sits at 1,800m above sea level and its slopes rise to a snow-sure 3,500m.

Chalet Surprise is located in the Wildi area, which is considered to be the sunniest and best part of Saas Fee. It is important to point out that Saas Fee is a car free town.

If you are arriving by car you will be required to park the car in an undercover car park. Transport about the town happens via electric bus or taxi. Getting around town by foot is the norm and easy as it’s completely flat.

The Town Centre is about 5 minutes walk away (500m)

The main ski lift is approximately 10 min walk away (900m) although the ski bus stop is about a 30 sec walk away (40m) and takes you directly there.

The ski school meeting point is about 15 minutes walk away (1220m) and the ski bus will take you directly there.

The main ski area also contains several restaurants, pubs, beauty facilities and shops

The car parking area is about 3 min walk away (200m)
