Why Pete Worch chose Lusby
I bought this property in 1985 and built the current house on it in 1990 for myself and my family. We so enjoy the activities, sights and sounds of the location but outgrew the house. We still live nearby. It is definitely a soothing and stress free location that gives you modern amenities and still allows you to experience nature at its best. The location also has some of the best walking and biking neighborhoods and roads without the hustle and bustle.
What makes this House unique
Whether its just sitting on the deck with your favorite beverage, or fishing and crabbing off the bulkhead, you will enjoy the experience to the fullest without leaving. The area also has a wealth of sightseeing, eating, hiking and touring.

The house was very clean. Very nice views. The house had everything you could want and more. Pete was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.
Hard to beat!!!
My family of five had a great weekend stay while in town visiting family. In the past we have rented hotel rooms in the area and have found our new go-to place on the water. We enjoyed great fishing and crabbing from the seawall, amazing views of Solomons Island and Patuxent Naval Air Station! The house was well appointed and had everything that we needed and then some. We look forward to returning again soon!
Home on the rivet
Excellent home. Had everything we needed. The wine and coffee were a very nice touch. Treated my wife to her 1st ever crab dinner made possible from Pete's crab pots. Would absolutely stay again.
Perfect Quiet Getaway
Looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy a waterfront view? This place has what you're looking for. My husband and I recently checked in to this beautiful home and couldn't be happier. We entered the house and fell in love with the view. We were there during a heatwave, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the view of the Patuxent River. There is comfy furniture for you to enjoy while gazing out the windows. We enjoyed watching the boats and planes. Pete was very responsive to our needs and was very professional. All in all, a fabulous place to relax and get away!
I'm not normally one to leave reviews, but our experience in the house compelled me to do so in this case. As promised, the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all fully stocked and did not leave us wanting for anything. From the spice cabinet, to the full complement of pots and pans, to the towels and hand soap, we were in great shape. The appliances all worked great, and the furniture was all very comfortable. I will also mention that the air conditioning and wealth of fans kept us perfectly cool on a weekend where all three days topped 95 degrees, even with the giant windows making the job all the more difficult.
The view was as great as the pictures make them appear. If it could somehow exceed our already high expectations, it did.
What set this trip apart, as others have mentioned, were the personal touches. The bottle of wine that greeted us was a nice treat. Above all, Pete baiting the crab pots beforehand made the trip for us. We ended up scrapping our whole Saturday dinner plan after getting lucky enough with the crab pots to feed the whole group, and it was a blast.
After the visit got off to a rocky start when our car broke down on the way in, I cannot thank Pete enough for the little touches that made such worries go away.
Peaceful, beautiful and reaxing
This was a beautiful home. Clean, comfortable and offered a really awesome view. From the deck, we enjoyed watching planes take off from the military airport across the river - and there was a constant parade of assorted boating vessels past the shoreline. Solomons Island was a short drive - and could also be vewed from the property abutting the water. We also enjoyed checking the crab traps the owner put out for us off the retaining wall, and riding the bikes available for use.
We would love to return for another stay.
