Todd and Stacey, Tucson, AZ
We moved from Kansas to Tucson in 2003. We love the sunny skies, desert landscape, and friendly people and wanted to share our Tucson experience with others.
Stacey Wolff purchased this house in 2006
We bought our vacation home near our own home. It is a quiet area, yet only 2 miles from shopping, dining, golf, spas and more. And it is conveniently located for getting around to all sorts of Tucson activities like Sabino Canyon to the east, or the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum to the southwest. It is also only six miles from the interstate, making trips to Phoenix or Mexico a breeze.
Catalina Mountain views spread out before you. Relax in the shade of the covered patio or enjoy the full sun near the pool.
This home is near the necessary conveniences - dining, grocery, drug store, and shopping mall. Plus many sight seeing attractions are close by too.
Stacey and I enjoy the safe, quiet neighborhood.
I stayed here with my family recently and had a fantastic holiday. We have stayed in many vacation homes around Europe and the US and this has got to be the best. The view of the mountains at sunset was fabulous and the outdoor dining was great. The kids loved the pool, hammock and putting green and had hours of fun using these facilities. We feel thoroughly relaxed after our stay in Tucson and much of that is down to this home being just like a home from home. The home is beautifully decorated and caters for your every need. The hosts are always on hand, if needed, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is central to lots of visitor attractions and the shops and restaurants nearby are excellent. I would definately recommend this home to anybody who wants to stay in comfortable surroundings with excellent facilities.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Plenty of room, nice kitchen, everything one could ask for.
This was the perfect place for us to relax. The weather was very hot and we did some touring in the mornings, but came back to use the pool in the afternoons. The house was equipped with all kinds of kitchenware, spices, etc. and there were all kinds of shampoos and bath supplies. There were plenty of towels and beach towels although with just two of us we didn't need a lot but if we were there with family or friends, the supply was excellent.
The two new lounge chairs by the pool are very comfortable.
We met Todd the day after our arrival and mentioned the master bath shower head and he went ahead and found another and ordered one. The washer stopped working but one phone call and the service guy came the same day. Nothing but a timer switch gone bad. The only negative thing I can say is that the outside fans need replacing. The paddles are warped and we didn't even try to use them. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place.
Five adults shared this house. It was nice to have the Master bedroom on the opposite side of the house from the other two bedrooms. The house was nice but three adults had to share one bathroom that was rather small and only had one sink. Luckily we were relatives so it wasn't too much of a problem. One of the outdoor ceiling fans was not working, which would have been nice since there was a mosquito problem. Not sure where they were coming from but we've stayed in two other houses in Tucson before and never had mosquitos. Owner was very nice and made sure we were happy.
Great home . I say home because it felt like home with all the extras ( spices and coffee in the kitchen, shampoo and soap in the bathrooms even pool toys for the pool and board games for rainy days, and it did rain a little. Would absolutely stay here again. Stacey met us at arrival and could not have been nicer.
This property was exactly as pictured and the owners/property management team were great. They were very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. The house was very clean, well kept, and close to many activities.
