This house has a front porch for relaxing, two bedrooms, a living room, and an eat-in kitchen. One of the bedrooms has a queen-sized bed and the other has a trundle daybed with two twin-sized beds. The living room area has an extended couch and a large tv with Roku capabilities. The couch folds out to a full sized bed.
This is a upper level of a duplex. Feel free to check out our other listing if you have a larger group, and would like to rent the whole house if it's available. The porch area and the hallway where you enter the upstairs is a shared area.
Around the block from the house is a huge park with a paved walking/jogging/biking path, splash pad, tennis courts, basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, skate park, softball diamonds, soccer fields, two playgrounds, and a prairie boardwalk area. The house is in a quiet, residential area within 1/2 mile of downtown where you can find unique shops, coffee, and restaurants. Art enthusiasts can follow the sculpture trail on foot or bike to view 10 statues around town. The Rock River is a National Water Trail that has world class fishing: walleye, northern, bass, catfish, among others. Trout fishing is available seasonally at White Pines State Park. There's a 7 mile community bike trail accessible from the house as well. There's lots of day trips that can be taken by car or shuttle. There's 3 state parks within 5-10 minutes drive. Within 15 minutes is a natural grassland area that reintroduced bison in 2014.
Oregon is a great town to walk around if you want to leave your car behind! White Pelican, about a 1/2 mile from the house, offers bike rentals, river trips, and shuttles to area recreational sites.
