ROME ITALY PERFECT PASQUINO APARTMENT

One of the most characteristic neighborhoods of central Rome in a high quality, well furnished and maintained apartment.

The famous Piazza Navona area is one of the most sought after in historic Rome. The sites are at your doorstep and the area abounds with wonderful restaurants, winding cobblestone streets, cafes, and handy public transportation.

"We were right around the corner from Piazza Navona, a mile away from the Vatican and a little over a mile to the Colosseum. We walked everywhere! Plenty of restaurants and gelato shops right outside the door. The grocery store is very close and so is Campo de' Fiore."

Location

Most famous sights in Rome are within easy walking distance. The glorious Piazza Navona is half a minute walk away. Just below is the famous Pasquino statue where, for centuries, Romans have posted political lampoons. This is just one of the 'Talking Statues of Rome' which history is an interesting digression.

Exterior

The building dates from the 1800s and has an elevator. The Pasquino apartment is on the top floor for maximum light.

Interior

This central Roman apartment is laid out wonderfully for use by travelers. The 'day' rooms and 'night' rooms are well separated so variations in guest schedules don't disturb others.

"The Pasquino apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, roomy, and conveniently located."

The apartment itself sleeps up to six people with a master bedroom with queen size bed, second bedroom with 3 twin beds and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.

One enters the apartment into a hallway lined with historic prints. On the right is the large eat-in kitchen and the next door leads to a spacious and light-filled living room. The dining table seats six. A grouping of sofa and love seat are placed close to the window overlooking Piazza Pasquino. There flat screen TV in the living room receives a few English language news channels. There is Wifi. An independently controlled air conditioning system serves the living and dining room. The original coffered hand-painted ceilings high above are a special feature.

"The apartment was very spacious - especially for Europe - and very comfortable."

The master bedroom also overlooks Piazza Pasquino. It is tastefully done with golden hued fabric lined walls. The bed has a leather, padded headboard and a firm queen-sized mattress. French antique bedside tables have reading amps. A flat screen television is mounted facing the bed (Italian channels only). This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. Closets for this bedroom are in an entry space that also opens onto the bathroom that has a tub with shower sprayer that can be hooked up high, sink, toilet and bidet.

The second bedroom is the former library and has a warm glow of wood. It can sleep three in 3 single beds. One twin bed is tucked between the cabinets and feels a bit like a ship captain's bunk. The other twin bed is a trundle bed with a second bed that pulls out from underneath. This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. The bedroom overlooks Via dei Leutari. Ample closets in this room. The second bathroom has a fully enclosed shower, sink, toilet, bidet and washing machine. The bathrooms are older but clean and functional.

The kitchen is very large for a city apartment; it has three large windows that admit a lot of light and a table that can seat four. The kitchen is has a refrigerator, gas range, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, pots, pans, utensils and dishes.

We have done our very best to fit our pricing into the 'Book It' and ‘Detailed Price’ rate system provided by this advertisement, but the results aren’t precise. For example, their system doesn’t count children as guests and we do. Their currency conversion calculation is usually wrong. Consequently, we apologize that we have to say that the price provided by this advertisement is just an estimate. Why Property manager/Owner chose Rome

Fascinating location in the heart of Rome, less then 1 minute walk to Piazza Navona.

What makes this apartment unique

This neighborhood couldn't be more interesting. Great food shopping in nearby Campo dei Fiori, historical sights are all around you from the Pantheon to Piazza Navona. There are many great restaurant choices & a little supermarket within 2 blocks.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Pasquino was a perfect apartment for my wife and 2 adult children for our week vacation in Rome. The location is ideal in that you can walk to almost any tourist site in Rome. The apartment is plenty spacious, clean, quiet and the kitchen is modern. It was very easy to make the reservation through Pat at Italy Perfect. Pat also referred us to Carolina [concierge service] who was very helpful as a guide and for making dinner reservations.

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

I have been in touch with my clients and they had nothing but great things to say.

The accommodations were perfect for their family of 4 which included 1 teenager boy

and one college son. Bedding worked perfect.

They loved the location and being near everything but yet feeling like they were

in a community where they could go to the market for fresh product, cheese etc

either short walk in the AM or on their way back to their accommodations

for afternoon naps.

I will definitely recommend to my clients in the future.

Spectacular location. A wonderful choice.

  • 5 of 5

Just a quick note to let you know that we just loved the apartment - totally comfortable, beautiful and so well stocked for the guests. Spectacular location. A wonderful choice. Also everything worked smoothly with Nancy, the greeter and with Stefano and Marco. We are thrilled with our trip and with all the help you provided. Thank you!

Home in Rome

  • 5 of 5

The Pasquino Apartment was the perfect "home" for our family of 4 during our stay in Rome. We could not have asked for a better location with a lively piazza as our back yard and all the wonderful sites of the Eternal City within comfortable walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious and very clean and offered all of the amenities of home, though some of the rooms, including the bathrooms, could benefit from some updating. There is something very special about visiting a city, exploring and enjoying all it has to offer, then feeling so at "home" at the end of each amazing day.

We would definitely recommend the Pasquino Apartment and Italy Perfect to our friends. Lisa graciously answered all our questions before our trip. Our greeter was helpful and friendly. And our drivers, Rocco and Daniele, were prompt, courteous, and very reliable. Each of them helped make our family trip to Rome unforgettable!

Wonderful Apartment

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful apartment, with plenty of room, for our family time in Rome. The location is superb. It is nicely furnished and very charming. It was very quiet with the windows closed, but you could step right out of the door and find lots of activity and plenty of things to do. I would definitely stay there again and will use Italy Perfect for other locations to visit. The check in went off without a glitch.

Another Visit To Rome

  • 5 of 5

We were given a choice to stay at Pasquino since the common halls and outside of the building were being restored or go to another residence in the Veneto area at the expense of Italy Perfect. We chose to stay at Pasquino during the restoration because we enjoy this centralized area of Rome is close to most of the monuments and museums we can easily walk to. There are many good restaurants, bakeries, gelato shops, and Campo dei Fiori where one can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables & meats. The apartment is very accommodating: two bedrooms, two baths, wonderful eat-in kitchen & dining room. There were a number of English speaking channels on the TV and some of the Italian channels were interesting as well. The owner and host was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you Joe for all your help. We heartily recommend Pasquino.

Perfect location for families

  • 5 of 5

The Pasquino Property was everything advertised and then some. My family of 5 felt completely comfortable, like a home away from home. We could leave the apartment and walk anywhere in Rome. Piazza Novona being in our backyard.

Even better all financial transactions we're completed in U.S. Dollars and well ahead of our arrival. This is unlike some rentals that want a wad of local currency in hand when you arrive. Lisa answered all of our questions before we arrived, and our greeter answered all local questions. Stephano Car was a great service, grabbed our bags and took us right from the airport to our apartment, and was waiting outside the door when we left for home. I highly recommend Italy Perfect to anyone.
