Best Place I ever stayed....

  • 5 of 5

Can I give it more stars? My husband and I still talk about this place 3+ years later.... Vinny was over the top accommodating when we has an issue with schedule. The place is far better than the photos show. The falls are amazing. The town is wonderful. I thought I had left a review before but I don't see it, but sadly only half the week we need is available - although we may reconsider our vacation because we loved it so much. Quiet, peaceful, the best. Note: my arrival date for this isn't correct...

Vacation 2015

  • 5 of 5

Our visit to Cabin at the Falls went exactly as advertised. This is one of the few places in life where the highest expectations will be met. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, the cabin was warm and inviting and impeccably clean. The view and sound of the falls is mesmerizing. The bonus is that through Vinny and Mitzi's hospitality and warm friendliness, we will be friends for a long time to come. Cabin at the Falls is a definite repeat vacation get-away!

Perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

You can literally feel the mist of the falls on the porch. Need I say more? We really enjoyed our weekend in this beautifully crafted wood cabin- clearly a labor of love. We had a large group and went hiking around, down to the falls, barbecued and made music on the porch. Perfect place- ready to go back!!

Great Getaway!!

  • 5 of 5

We recently returned from a wonderful weekend at the "Cabin at the Falls". We were a group of 10 women on a weekend getaway and it could not have been more perfect. The cabin was very clean and well appointed with everything you could need and/or want and provided lots of room for a bunch of women and all the "stuff" they typically travel with. Vinny was great to work with and very hospitable -- he is full of information about the Cabin (which he built himself!!!) and the surrounding area. The Cabin was close to local restaurants, shops and other area attractions (hiking trails, waterfalls, lake), while still being a bit secluded so that any noise would not be disturbing to the neighbors. Our group had a great time and we are already looking ahead to plan another date at the Cabin. Thank you, Vinny, for providing us with a very enjoyable and memorable "Girls Weekend". We will definitely be back!

Fantastic cabin, amazing views.

  • 5 of 5

This property wasn't clean, it was IMMACULATE!! Nicest property we have ever rented. The owners are fantastic to work with. Spent an extended weekend with our 2 teenage kids and had a blast. Swam in the falls every day...breathtaking. Our daughter even spotted a river otter on an early morning visit. Watched an amazing sunrise over the hills one morning and a lightning storm that evening while we dined outside under the covered porch. We brought our boat and took it to Newfound Lake every day. The ramp is free and only 10 minutes from the house. The local shops are great especially the Fudge Mill (great ice cream!!) and The Puple Pit (great Breakfast sandwiches). Wish we had more time to spend. Would love to come back for a couples weekend. Had a great experience! Thanks Vinnie and Mitzy for sharing your wonderful home with us!!!
