Brent was very easy to work with. We had no issues while we were there, and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Property was nice, house was clean and up do date. Location was great as well!
We rented this home to have a place to spend time with our family traveling from Va. The home was very clean and had everything that we needed to have dinners and enjoy time together. The pool was wonderful and with the automatic cleaner, we woke up to a clean pool each day. The screened in porch is a wonderful addition! Brent was great to work with and we felt that if we had any issues with the property, we could contact him for help. We will definitely be renting this place again!
Our family came to Greer for the baby gender reveal of our first grandchild. The home was decorated so nicely and had everything we ever needed. We totally enjoyed the screened in back porch area, as well as the pool. We had a fabulous time. The master bedroom could use new mattresses, but otherwise there isn't anything we could say negative. Homeowner called to make sure we had everything we needed. He was super easy to deal with and we plan to stay in the home every time we need extra room, as our son and daughter-in-law live in that area of S.C. If you need a comfortable home with all the comforts of home, you need to stay here!!!!!!
Great Stay in a Quiet Neighborhood
Great place to spend a week at the pool. Owner was helpful and responsive and the pool was top notch
Our party reached our rental location at 10 pm at night. As we entered the premises we noticed trash on tables, in draws and in cabinets. There was used tooth brushes and hairbrushes in the bathroom, an open container with food in the coat closet. We decided to check the beds after we saw how atrocious the rest of the house was, to find a disgusting bug under the cover and many more on the floor beneath. We decided we no longer wanted to stay at the rental home after these discoveries. My family and I then put our bags back in our car and we contacted the house owner. He later met us at the house, he seemed unconcerned towards the bugs in the bed, "it's that time of the year" he said. It's a good thing we didn't want to park our car in the garage because there was roaches, crickets and many more creatures in there. The house owner had absolutely no cares for this situation . He was rude and said we caused him to "lose money". We asked for a refund and the owner didn't even acknowledge it. We in turn had to stay at a hotel for the next three days. All in all, my family and I were very dissapointed by the house and we now have to dispute the payment. I do not recommend wasting your money on this house.
I am truly sorry that you were not happy with the home. Having said that, one thing that you and I can agree on is that the situation was a nightmare, but for different reasons. As you can see, to my knowledge EVERY review received on this home has been stellar. Many of them specifically mention my helpfulness, cooperation, and courtesy. None of these mention any kind of uncleanliness that you are trying to describe. First, as to my "not caring", I first saw your texts at 10:01 pm and arrived at the home in person by 10:30. I'd say pretty responsive given time of day.
Second, the home was rented until your day of check-in by another party who actually asked me to stay longer. Their favorable review is the one posted just before yours. You were both there on the same day. Third, I do not blame anyone for being upset that there was dead bug on a sheet. That is unacceptable for any reason. However, it is the south, and bugs can find a way into any dwelling this time of year (per my comment that you twisted). I do find it strange and unusual however that the bug somehow made it under a comforter but on top of a sheet, all of which were fresh and tucked in upon the cleaning crew leaving. It was my intention to offer to change that bed on the spot. However, since I was handed the key on the sidewalk before getting to the front door, I could only assume your one and only intention was to leave. That was also conveyed very quickly by the comments by you and your husband upon my arrival. I was never at anytime rude, even shaking hands with your husband and son. On the other hand I was greeted with rudeness.
Next, other than the lone bug debate, your text pics included a broken pic frame in a random drawer, a pic of a plumbing connection under one of the sinks (still don't know which one), and last but not least, a pic of a toddler's sealed snack cup that had been left behind on a top shelf of a hall coat closet by the previous guest just hours before.
I would have worked out any kind of reasonable solution that night, but it was very apparent by your words and actions when I showed up that you were not interested in reasonableness; only leaving and some kind of preparation for financial refund. it may be that your plans changed on your way to the home. But, in any case, your comments do not reflect in any way my attitude, nor the home's status. Both the track record of the property and me, as evidenced by everyone else's opinion, proves that.
Good location, quiet neighborhood.
Owner was helpful and house had everything we needed. Pool was fun.
