About Chris Whetzel
Hi! We are Chris and Kim. We have two daughters who have blessed us with incredible son-in-laws and three grandchildren between them. We enjoy being outside in the mountain air, loving on our family and friends, spending time with our dogs, and watching KU Basketball whenever possible.
Chris Whetzel purchased this Cabin in 2018
Why Chris Whetzel chose Victor
We purchased this property because the mountains bring peace to our souls and we want to share that with other people. We know how busy and hectic life can get so we are happy to be able to provide a sanctuary for people to get away and rest.

Pictures don't do the property justice. Amazing little cabin, and wonderful drive down to Victor. A must visit if you're anywhere near the area. Will definitely be back!
Just the getaway we needed!
We really loved the location in the mountains, very peaceful and secluded! The cabin was also breathtaking, the pictures just don't do it justice. It has everything one would want on a relaxing vacation. We loved building fires, watching movies, cooking. The views are gorgeous, and the snow we had while staying made it even more magical. We stayed in January but can’t wait to come back and enjoy everything this place has to offer in summer. Kim and Chris are gracious hosts, always available to help. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable experience!
Beautiful, calm, but excitingly deep into mountains
Beautiful, comfy cabin and lovely scenery, especially with the snow. The cabin was very modern. We loved making a fire in the wood stove. It was an exciting location deep into the mountains. We were glad we had our 4 wheel drive vehicle in the snow. We would stay again if we have the chance.
Make this your mountain getaway!
This is an easy and beautiful 2 hour drive from Denver (skip the I70 coordor!). Up 10,000 feet, the views are amazing and the property is an adventure with hills and creeks. We enjoyed 4-wheeling and hiking the property.
Kim and Chris are great hosts!
This was beautiful and we would recommend staying here. We had trouble finding the place late at night, so Chris came out in his car looking for us!!!! We really appreciated it!
Very Nice Getaway
We loved the peace and quiet, thank you
