Great cottage and location
The casa Louisa is an awesome house in a great location. A special thank you to Caryn who really helped us with everything. We had a wonderful time and have already told friends if your going to key west this is the place to stay
This was our second trip to Key West but this time with the entire family so we were looking for a spot that we could cook or eat in if desired just to keep costs down. Casa Louisa was the perfect spot! The location is one block off Duval but very quiet. You could walk anywhere worth going from here including Southernmost Point, Mallory Square, the beach, all historical spots, restaurants, bars, etc. The property was clean and well maintained. There were enough kitchen items to prepare simple dinners. Grill worked great and was welcome! The pool is a plunge pool so don't expect to do laps...which you should get from the picture. Furniture is great, beds were ok (but don't use that as a negative...I can't sleep on ANY bed but my own!). This house is tiny. There were five adults in our group and without the outdoor area we would have been pretty cramped for five days. But you don't go to Key West to be inside! I think the greatest thing about this property is the Last Key staff that go over and above, and I do mean over and above, to make your stay special. We worked with Caryn and I felt like I had my own concierge! She helped arrange for a special dinner, confirmed reservations, met us at the house upon arrival and even held a parking spot in front of the house for us! She was simply outstanding! From first inquiry re: the property to our departure, this was an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend renting from Last Key and using Casa Louisa!
Cozy home with a large private patio. Next door neighbors got loud a few times but never for an extended period of time. On the quiet end of Duvall St but great food, fun pubs and shops just a short walk away. Weather was nearly perfect. Short walk to Our Lady of the Sea Basilica.
Great location. Very cute house. Small but well decorated. Our only issue was we were 5 adults and only inside seating for 4. House was clean. Caryn, our concierge was great. She met us at the house and had parked out front giving us a parking space. She was very helpful in explaining everyone and got back to us quickly when we had some questions after she left. She even went on the extra mile by having birthday decorations when I mentioned we were celebrating a couple of birthdays. We had great meals out, the best being at El Siboney's. Great town to walk. We would definitely recommend Key West, Casa Louisa and Last Key.
Home was just as described on the web site. We loved it. My husband, myself and our 9 & 14 year old grandkids traveled with us. Plenty of room, the kids each had their own room and if you wanted company there were still 2 pullout . The pool was a hit, not to big but did the trick, the 9 year old spent a lot of time in it. We would without a doubt stay here again. The location was great at the quieter end of Duval St. I saw in a June review that the deck and such was run down, it's all new now. Highly recommend this property.
