Our fantastic girls weekend at 11 C Seagrove!
This property was excellent for our girls week in Charleston. We had everything that we needed and we had a wonderful view of the ocean....beautiful sunrise and sunsets. It was a wonderful stay at 11C Seagrove. I did intend to leave a note about the upstairs bathroom that was missing some light bulbs. It was sufficient light but 2 of the sockets had nothing in them. Also, we had a bit of trouble with the front door lock. Still, the week was so pleasant in this property.

Wild Dunes 10C Seacrest
The location of this property is excellent! However, it could use some updating. The downstairs bathroom toilet needs replacing as it would not flush correctly and the sink drain would drain very very slowly. I would suggest some new deck furniture with counter top chairs as you cannot see over the railings on the deck when you are sitting . I noticed most of the other units in Wild Dunes have the counter top chairs and table as they have been updated. Also, there is no light in the living room area that actually functions. The overhead light is completely gone but there is no fixture there. A ceiling fan and light would have been nice. The sliding door to deck needs completely replaced as it is showing a lot of aging and does not lock. The upstairs bedroom does not have a ceiling light that works. The fixture there does not function and should technically be a ceiling fan as this is what is customarily in these beach units from our 20 years or so of renting villas that are similar to these. The kitchen is great. It has all of the necessary things you need to prepare food and entertain. The unit is great for family outings. We would have liked to have had a little more information about nearby affordable restaurants.

The Isle of Palms consists of 5 miles of beach and the northern tip ends at Wild Dunes Resort. It is very close to Sullivan's Island, and Mt. Pleasant, and is only 15 miles to downtown Charleston. There are many activities very close to enjoy- sight seeing, restaurants, golf, tennis, water sports, jet skiing, boat rentals, Isle of Palms Marina, and Isle of Palms Recreation Center. The Harris Teeter sits right beside the Isle of Palms Connector for your grocery needs. The Isle of Palms front beach is also a great choice for restaurants and souvenirs.
