Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
Originally, I'm from Connecticut. During the 80's I lived in Andrews up in a 'holler' and never had the gorgeous view I now enjoy. I then relocated to FL for 15 years and in 1999 decided I had to have another home in Andrews. I purchased 'this old house' and have had extensive improvements done. The 'Moose' was originally a single room over the workshop. I designed and decorated the cabin as it now exists and enjoyed watching it being built in 2007. The view of the northern mountains is breath-taking! I have thoroughly enjoyed all the comments from my guests, many of whom have become my friends. I work full-time as Radiology Director in a hospital in GA and am away from my home at least ten hours a day. My guests have total privacy, but like knowing I am here in the evenings should they have a problem or question. I have two 'inside' dogs who were hard-luck stories but have adapted to being spoiled house-dogs very quickly! I have traveled extensively throughout the USA as well as foreign countries and have never found a more beautiful place to live than right here in Andrews, NC.

A Lovely Place!
The little house was just enough for me and my small crew. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the back at night. The front porch was glorious for that cup of early morning "java". Andrew, is a quaint little town. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hope to repeat next year on my 65th birthday. Pat, our host was most gracious. I love my NC mountains.
This is my second time staying at the Moose Cabin and once again it was cozy perfection. This charming cabin has everything I could ever want or need for my vacation back to Andrews, my former hometown. I love how peaceful the cabin is while still being within walking distance to the town. There is a small winery just up the street that has live music on the weekends and sometimes during the week. I always enjoy going there, but if you don’t want to venture out, the cabin is fully stocked with books and games. Pat, the host, is always gracious and welcoming. I’m always surprised by all the supplies she provides for her guests. Though the cabin is small, it is tidy and very well organized, complete with labels and instructions, so you will never have trouble finding anything. The Moose Cabin is a gem and I am so grateful to be able to vacation there. I can’t wait for my next visit!
Thank you, Deana! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
We had an amazing stay!! The cottage was even more adorable in person! Perfect location, we could sit on the porch with our dogs and enjoy the Mountain View ! We really felt pampered by Pat after our drive from Florida to outrun Dorian. She had everything we could want or need at our fingertips and we will definitely come back to relax !!
