Spacious holiday cottage with fabulous views
We had a brilliant week staying at this cottage. It is extremely spacious, comfortable house in a rural location. Ideal for a short break. It was a short drive from the nearest village which had a few shops, pub, chip shop etc. The house was very well equipped if you wish to stay in to cook. There are lots of walks in the area and lots of visitor attractions close by. Loved waking up to the sheep baaaing in the field rather than traffic noise.
Fantastic cottage, great owners, fab surroundings
Having just spent a week in the Incheoch Granary Cottage we're delighted to say it was a fantastic place to stay. The Granary has everything we needed for our family of 4 plus additional family visitors that came up for the odd night.
The owners were great and welcomed is with some fresh home baking and freshly laid eggs from their farm. We were also invited up so that our children could feed the newly born lambs.
The surrounding area was great for walking our dog and we the Granary is only a couple of miles from the town of Alyth which has a nice pub, good butchers and a couple of good shops to top up on our food and drinks. Its also only a couple of miles to some great wee cafes. The best of which was Wee Bear Cafe at Bridge of Lintrathen.
We had an amazing week and we'll definitely be recommending this to friends and family. We'll also be looking at booking to return in the future too.

2 families spent a wonderful 3 nights in this beautiful conversion. The kids loved the games barn, sheep, cows, Skye and Pixie while the adults loved the house, the views and being able to relax. Debbie and family were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable - thank you so much! We’d love to visit again.

Immersed in spectacular scenery and on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park, the granary is within easy access of Glenshee, Kirriemuir, Blairgowrie and Alyth. Nearby activities include hillwalking, skiing, golf, fishing, horse-riding, shooting, bird watching, mountain biking, castles and sightseeing. Situated on the Perthshire / Angus border, the cottage is within half hour drive of Dundee or Perth and is an ideal base for visiting Perthshire, Angus, Fife and the Highlands. The historic towns of Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Forfar and Braemar are also within easy reach.
Glenisla is a paradise for hikers, ramblers and mountain bikers with the circular Cateran Trail passing by the cottage door. The Cateran Trail is a fully waymarked walk of 64 miles (103 km) that lies at the heart of Scotland. The Trail takes its name from the feared cattle thieves who raided the rich lands of Strathardle, Glenshee and Glen Isla. The neighbouring Angus glens of Glen Clova, Glen Prosen, Glen Doll and Glen Esk also offer numerous Munros and trails.
Skiing is available at Glenshee Ski Resort (16 miles). Glenshee Ski Centre offers the UK's most extensive skiing and snowboarding facilities with an impressive 22 lifts and 36 runs offering an amazing diversity of natural terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. Excellent salmon river and trout loch fishing is on offer in numerous locations nearby. Permits can be bought for Lintrathen Loch (2 miles) which is boat fishing only, has twenty two boats and is stocked on a regular basis with both brown and rainbow trout. Lintrathen gives the angler a feeling of peace and tranquillity as well as the excitement of catching quality fish. The Backwater, situated higher up the glen gives the purist a chance to fly fish the banks for wonderful wild brown trout with an average weight of eight ounces. Both lochs are regularly visited by clubs and individual anglers from the furthest points in the country and Lintrathen has been a venue for the Commonwealth Championship.
Castles are a plenty in this area. Glamis Castle, birthplace of the Queen Mother is a short distance and is an excellent day out. Balmoral Castle and Scone Palace are also worth a visit.
