Our family of 5 adults were blessed to have stayed at Villa Luisa. The view of Capri is breathtaking and the immaculate property itself was even more wonderful than the pictures indicated. The kitchen is a dream and I have never had one so well stocked before my arrival. Everything we could have possibly needed, down to fresh milk and a lovely wine, were provided. Luisa's freshly baked cake waiting for us on our arrival was delicious and enjoyed by our whole family. Anna could not have been more accommodating, even helping us arrange a driver to pick up one of our family members at the Naples airport when they were arriving before the rest of us and rescuing us at the town square when our GPS wouldn't cooperate in finding the address. You can not go wrong making Villa Luisa your choice for your stay in the Sorrento/Amalfi area. Thank you, Luisa and Anna, for your warm hospitality and a memorable visit to your lovely home.
I can't tell you what a great experience we had at Villa Luisa. We arrived after a long day of travel and were greeted by Luisa and her daughter Anna who are just the nicest people in the world. The villa was clean and the views were unbelievable .We found that the refrigerator was stocked with all the basic including a bottle of lemon cello in the freezer which was a nice surprise.Luisa had also made a cake for us which was absolutely delicious. A short walk down the street was a family run Italian restaurant La Torre which made us feel like one of the family.Papa
greeted the guests, mama ran the kitchen and the 2 daughter took care of the customers. The food was amazing. We ended eating there twice during our 3 night stay.Anna and Luisa were very attentive to all our needs. My wife and I own a vacation rental home ourself plus we've stayed in vacation rentals over 50 plus times in our travels and rate this as one of the best experiences ever. The only disappointing thing was we only had 3 days at Villa Luisa.
Staying at Villa Louisa was by far the highlight of our Italian vacation. The apartment is beautiful and the views are magnificent. Louisa and Anna were the most gracious hosts – they made us feel like family! The fridge and cupboard were stocked with food and drinks. Sitting on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine, overlooking Capri was our favorite part of our trip through Italy. We are already planning on returning with our family and staying put at the Villa for the whole trip. If I could I would give it 10 stars! I knew when I read the reviews for the villa that I would not be disappointed – I just didn’t know that even the great reviews don’t do this place justice!!!
We ended our two week Italian family adventure on the Amalfi Coast. Staying at Villa Luisa was the most wonderful way to end our already incredible trip. We only rent apartments and homes when vacationing with our children. We have come to realize that upon entering a home we can immediately sense a vibe about the property. Is it warm, comfortable, homey, well maintained? Villa Luisa exceeded our expectations on every level. First and foremost, Luisa and her daughter Anna are the most lovely and gracious hosts. We arrived late and they were so incredibly thoughtful to stock the kitchen with food, drinks and even homemade desserts. The house is beautiful and the views are just indescribable. We all slept extremely well and simply felt at peace and at home. After very full days of touring, we were always so happy to return to our beautiful home. We cannot say enough about this absolutely wonderful house!!
My husband, myself and our 2 school-age girls recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Luisa for 2 nights. The standouts (among many) at Villa Luisa were the family who own and manage the property (and assist the guests), as well as the comfort, beauty and cleanliness of the Villa itself. The house is gorgeous and we were very impressed with convenient amenities such as a very well-equipped kitchen; lots of outdoor seating on beautiful terraces; and many armoires to store clothes. The family is very respectful of their guests' privacy, though also available to answer questions and/or assist with plans. It feels as if the care and comfort of the guests is their top priority. The day we were traveling from Rome to Sorrento we were unable to rent a car as planned and took trains instead. We contacted Villa Luisa to let them know and to ask for guidance about the trains. The response was immediate and extremely helpful. As the other reviews have said, some food and a delicious homemade cake welcomed us and were a lifesaver. Anna works in the tourism industry, speaks multiple languages, and can assist with whatever you need; she is extremely responsive, kind and helpful. Her adorable daughter made fast friends with our girls!

There are 3 bedrooms, all with flatscreen TVs: a large queen master (green) downstairs off the kitchen, with a giant bathroom and giant tub/shower; 2 bedrooms and a living room are upstairs- 1 large queen (pink) room with private bath/shower, and 1 smaller double (yellow) room with built-in cabinetry/desk and private bath/shower. The pink room, hall and living room open to a large upstairs terrace. The smaller double has a window. The beds are comfortable. There is a small grocery store very close, can walk (5 min). A little further is the small town of Massa Lubrense, can walk (20 min). A bus stop is also close and runs to Massa Lubrense, Sorrento, etc. Restaurants are close, and some have relationships with the nearby villas to pick up tourists for lunch or dinner and take you back; the family will help with arrangements. The Villa is in a quiet location with a gorgeous view of the island of Capri. It is a perfect spot to relax in serene comfort and serve as a home base for exploring the magic and wonders of the Amalfi coast. We are already planning our return to Villa Luisa for a longer stay!
