Gulf Shores Condo Rental Photos and Description

Crystal Shores West is a premier new building that has many amenities including an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, pool tables & foosball, BBQ grills, covered parking, and staffed lobby. All this and a convenience store walking across the street.

It is perfectly located only 1 mile from the Hangout and Hwy. 59. I can provide additional pictures of the building and its amenities, if you would like.

Do not confuse 'Crystal Shores West' with the older building called 'Crystal Shores'.... or with the Crystal Tower (which is located accross the street from the beach).

When you compare other units in Crystal Shores West please note that mine has custom drapes, upgraded stainless appliances and flooring, tray ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom, crown molding, new neutral area rug, and a fun beachy theme. It is 1,100 square feet of comfort! There are 4 floors of covered parking beneath, and best of all located on the 4th floor, giving quick access to put you right onto the beach, yet high enough for fantastic views.

You will be so pleased with the comfy atmosphere that greets you. I update my condo every 6 months, so it looks and feels new and fresh! Bed Bath and Beyond is a favorite of mine! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. There is a new crock pot, hand mixer, nice matching china and glasses and wine glasses. Nice matching everyday plates and silverware. Full sets of pans, pots and bowls. Stainless cuisinart coffee maker and toaster. We make sure it is all high end ready for your every whim! We spent the month of November '14 at the condo painting and re-decorating the 2nd king bedroom, the on-suite bathroom and painting the closets and the kitchen. We added under cabinet led lighting in the kitchen, new pillows throughout, new nightstands in both bedrooms, and new lamps and a new large dresser in the 2nd bedroom. November of 2015 we added a new rocker-recliner, 4 new comfortable patio chairs and chalk painted/stencilled the triple dresser in the master, so cute, all beachy themed! I also purchased a new 55 inch flat screen for the great-room and a new 32 inch for the master bedroom. We now will have many many more sports, movie and sirius music channels, due to a cable upgrade for the complex. We managed lots of great beach time, boating and golf! It was so hard to leave, as always!

The view is breathtaking, and is visable from the living room, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom!! Just step onto the balcony and look for miles up and down the beautiful white beaches and turquoise blue waters. The guest bedroom has a view of the lagoon on the north side of the building.

Our new condo is a comfortable retreat. The furnishings include a new cozy couch and lounger, area rug, fun art work, sleek dining room table and chairs, plasma TVs in the master AND guest bedroom, and custom draperies. The 55" flat screen in the living-room was just purchased in Sept. of 2015 and the 32" in the master in November 2015 are newer than in the pictures shown. Both bedrooms have king beds, each with upgraded bedding that not only looks great but feels great too. Each have a high quality mattress that gives you the great sleep we all want when on vacation.

It is one of the few units with stainless steel appliances (refrigerator has in the door ice/water), and upgraded flooring (beautiful tile throughout!) and window darkening curtains.

We made sure to provide the little niceties we look for when travelling; a well equipped kitchen, beach towels and toys, beach chairs and an umbrella, cleaners, folding chairs, etc. (all to make packing easier and save you time and money).

It has a great location on the 4th floor, so there is quick and easy access to the beach, pools, and game room.

This complex has a full time management company and security, located on the premises. They are friendly and helpful. And the presence of the security is very reassuring whenever we're on vacation!

For things to do in the area you have the following to enjoy: will find amusement parks and dolphin sightseeing boat trips for the kids; deep sea fishing and top-caliber golf courses which have been designed by some of the greatest names in golf - Arnold Palmer, Larry Nelson, Bruce Devlin, Jerry Pate, Robert Von Hagge and Earl Stone…with over 288 holes to play, it is truly a golfer’s paradise; shopping at unique local boutique stores or the Tanger outlet mall with more than 120 brand name outlet stores in Foley, Alabama, can keep even the most avid of shoppers entertained for days; and, of course, the miles and miles of sugar white sand beaches…NUMEROUS restaurants within a short driving distance; Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge a 7000+ acre refuge with beach access that protects and preserves the unique plants and animals that call the Gulf Coast home; Gulf State Park boasts 6000 acres of land with 2.5 miles of beaches on four preserved stretches of sand. Inland, 900-acre Lake Shelby hosts freshwater fishermen, boaters, skiers and swimmers; nearby nature trails wind through the wooded land. Scheduled educational nature activities include beach walks, hikes, slide presentations and nature films. Why Peg chose Alabama Gulf Coast

I looked diligently for over a year, spending hours and hours with my realtor, until he finally found exactly what I was looking for. The location is perfect, the beaches are gorgeous, I needed to be able to see the Gulf from the kitchen sink, large spacious rooms, crown moldings with no popcorn ceilings, a knock out view from the huge balcony and top notch ammenities. I drove him crazy, but in the end, it's perfect!!! I LOVE my condo and know you will too!

What makes this condo unique

It is perfectly located just one mile from the fun activities of the intersection at Highway 59. There are several great restaurants and shopping with-in walking distance. I particularly love that this is one of the newest and nicest buildings on the Alabama coast. It has wonderful amenities, not the least of which is the fabulous staff that is present all day to assist you with any needs. I also like how quickly I can be on the beach with my lower level unit. It is a wonderful, plush “home away from home” that is available at very competitive prices.

It was a great location, close to all of the action, yet not overwhelmingly packed on the beach(at least at the time of our trip)

Gulf Shores getaway

We had a wonderful time at this condo. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. We tried 4 of the suggested restaurants and found them all to be excellent. The view is perfect from the balcony and a nice treat was the view from the corridor overlooking the canal. The condo had a fully supplied kitchen and plenty of dishes and glassware. We were completely satisfied with our stay except for one thing, the guest bedroom bed has a bad ravine in the middle and squeaks loudly when you move. I'm sure a new box spring will solve this. All in all a five star rating! Thank you, Peg. We appreciate you.

We enjoyed our stay in Peg's condo. Unfortunately, a chair leg broke while 8 yr old grandson was eating dinner. It appeared to have been repaired from a previous break (as documented by a journal entry.) Upon returning home, I called and Peg informed us of stains on the sisal area rug plus the chair leg would result in us not having our security deposit returned. We spilled nothing and were not happy with Peg's decision. I asked for photos of rug stains and have heard nothing. BEWARE!! PERHAPS KEEPING EVERYONE'S DEPOSITS IS HOW CONDO WAS REFURBISHED IN NOVEMBER!!!!!

Owner's Response: Here is what my cleaning person wrote to me following this guest's stay: Hi Peg. I tried rewashing the towels with bleach but they are still there. I brought them home with me and will try to get them white again. Food and sand was everywhere. The broken chair is in the closet. Stains (probably coffee) on the rug in front of the sofa. I tried cleaning it with what I had but I'll need to find something else to get the rest out. I turned and repositioned the rug so the stains will not be visible to the next guest. Sorry this couldn't be a nicer note as usual. Have a nice day. Attached is the statement for June. As for me, Peg the owner, I am so sorry this finally has happened. I have never kept a damage deposit nor did I ever want to. I got a call from the guest who reported the broken chair leg and said she had also turned all of my white Tommy Hilfiger towels pink by throwing them in the laundry with her red cover-up. I told her the guest before was my daughter and the chairs were all fine. (We replaced the damaged chair mentioned with a new one from the owner's closet in March.) I called Joe, my guest following this incident to explain about the chair. It was his 3rd return to the condo. He said my cleaning person was still there trying to make the place as good as possible following the past guest. He said he was so sorry that someone treated my condo this badly and that the chair certainly would not ruin his stay. I thanked him. Finally, the 1 star-rating guest knew that my condo states a maximum of 4 people allowable (unless approved by me) and she had 6, while stating only 2 adults would be there. I am not onsite to send her pictures and I trust my cleaning person and my guest following her to give me an accurate accounting of damage. I've contacted my maintenance person regarding the chair until I get there and of course I have another full set of towels for my guests to use. I take my condo business very seriously and love my many return guests and helping my new guests with their vacation plans.

refreshed family

this was my 3rd year staying at pegs place and again it was perfect for my family. the condo was extremely clean, and had all the the things that fit for my family. the kids loved the zero entry pool, and the balcony was just the right height to be able to see the beach. we will for sure be back again. thnks peg for letting us use your home away from home. The city also put on a fireworks show for the 4th of July and was able to see the show with no problem from the balcony.

This means no lock boxes to fight with or concerns of losing keys. And you don't have to waste special beach time stopping somewhere to check in and check out!
