Our condo is on the 12th floor of a perfectly located, secured waterfront complex. Fajardo is located in the eastern region of the island, only 40 minutes from San Juan. The view from the balcony is spectacular, the most beautiful view in all of Puerto Rico! From our balcony you can see the El Conquistador Resort & Casino, Palomino, Palominito, Culebra and Vieques islands, Icacos, and on a clear day you can see St. Thomas.
Relax and enjoy your vacation in our condo, which includes a living/dining room,2 tastefully remodeled full baths, brand new open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, stove, 2 refrigerators, and other major appliances. Other amenities include air conditioning in both bedrooms,3 flat screen TV's with cable, telephone, internet connection, laundry room in building, large 110' x 76' private pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, and swings for the kids.
Activities: Fajardo is a major boating center. We are located right next to Villa Marina, where a wide range of sailboat and catamaran charters are available. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, sailing, golf, tennis, casinos, horseback riding, and tours of El Yunque, the only tropical rain forest protected by the U.S. National Forest Service. We are only minutes from beautiful Seven Seas and Luquillo beaches.
We are also located near the El Conquistador Resort & Casino, Fajardo Inn, Paradisis Resort, and the Westin Rio Mar Hotel.
El Yunque Rainforest: The Caribbean National Forest, often called El Yunque Rainforest, has the highest visitation of any natural site in Puerto Rico. When you see it, you’ll easily understand why. You can see the forest best on foot, but much of its splendor can be appreciated during a slow drive up and down the mountain. You can explore on your own, park along a roadside tower to see the view, or take a guided tour.
El Yunque can be seen from our front balcony and is only 15 minutes away from our complex.
Facts about Fajardo: Both Spanish and English are the official languages, the local currency is the U.S. dollar, and no visas or passports are required to enter Puerto Rico from the United States. Mail is sent through the US Postal Service at the same rates as on the mainland.
Fajardo ((fah-HAHR-do) ) is known as 'La Metrópolis del Sol Naciente' (the city that guards the sun of the Caribbean). Fajardo was founded in 1772. It was originally named Santiago de Fajardo.
Fajardo is one of the most originally beautiful spots on the island's shores. Located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. Fajardo is a major boating center, with a wide range of rentals and charters available, with daily and sport-diving excursions as well as scheduled ferries and air service carrying passengers and cargo to Culebra and Vieques. For information call: (787) 863-0705 or (787) 863-0852. Puerto del Rey Marina, home of 750 ships, is the largest in the Caribbean

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Bill's place.
Everytime we come it feels like paradise.
My mother and I had a wonderful time and we HATE to leave!
Thanks again Bill,
Ira & Gloria
My wife and I have stayed at many rentals in many different locations and this ranks with the best. Bill is a great host and provides you with a very well-supplied condo in a high rise overlooking a harbor with two marinas and the Caribbean Sea off in the distance. It is convenient in particular to Seven Seas Beach and Las Cabezas de San Juan (we took the night tour of the bioluminescent lagoon there, we hardly got any bioluminesence but really good stars and a good time anyway). When we arrived, the water had been inadvertingly shut off, but Bill was easily available by phone and stuck with us until we got the water back on. Tip - the wind currents make a lot of noise, sounds like a theramin, but if you fiddle with the windows (particularly the right most in the second bedroom) you can quiet it and if you use the AC while sleeping you drown it out. Also, so you don't get the wrong idea from another renter - the WalMart has a very poor food selection and you'll only be happy if you are satisfied microwaving frozen prepared food for dinner; if you are serious about cooking, then you have to go to Econo in the same mall, a REAL grocery store.
This 2-bedroom 2-bath condo has been renovated and is very comfortable. Air conditioning in each bedroom. The main area has wonderful breezes when you open the front door and the sliders on the back balcony. The view from the balcony is a postcard picture. Absolutely beautiful. The condo is furnished with everything you need to have an extended visit. There is a huge beautiful pool that is part of the amenities, plus playground equipment for small children. Huge laundry room on ground floor with plenty of washers and dryers. Close to everything you may need including sailing, restaurants, all types of water sports, drugstores, grocery stores. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely.
We've been to this area several times, but never stayed in a condo. We chose this particular one because of the closeness to the ferry, the spectacular view, & it seemed roomy enough since we brought another family member. Since we hit up all the different beaches while we're visiting PR, it wasn't important that the condo wasn't on a beach. It was easy to locate (can't miss the towers!), the condo was decorated nicely, plenty of room (& we bring a lot of "toys", scuba gear, metal detectors, etc....) the balcony was the favorite, of course. We had breakfast every morning & watched the boats leaving out.... was hard to tear our lazy-vacationing- selves away from it! Bill was a very prompt communicator w/any questions. We always head to WalMart to get supplies, groceries, whenever we arrive, but we didn't need a lot of what we bought! The kitchen was stocked w/everything you would need, from paper towels to spices, cleaning supplies, various staples in the cabinets one would need for cooking. Plenty of cookware, utensils..... just like being at home! We love staying in the Fajardo area & will very likely be renting this condo again! Thanks Bill!
We originally planned to take a Caribbean cruise. We are very glad that we decided, instead, to create a home base in this beautiful condo and have our Caribbean experience from there.
Don't be fooled by the relatively low rental rates. This is a modern, well-maintained condo. From its 12th floor position, it has glorious views of lush scenery, marinas, the beautiful turquoise ocean, and nearby islands.
With two air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a modern kitchen, the condo was very comfortable for us two couples. It is located in a secure, gated facility, with plenty of parking close to the building. There is a huge swimming pool and some nice outdoor space with lawn, gazebos, and exercise equipment.
There is a well-equipped laundry room on the ground floor of the building. Bring some rolls of quarters with you. It takes seven quarters for each washer load and seven quarters for each dryer load. There is no change machine.
The internet seemed to run at a leisurely, island pace wherever we went in Puerto Rico. There is free wifi in the condo itself and also on the ground floor of the building.
The location is ideal. It is very close to beautiful Seven Seas beach, kayaking tours to the Bioluminescent bay, snorkeling tours in mini boats, and the ferry terminal (for trips to Culebra and Vieques islands). There are also many restaurants and plenty of major stores for anything that you might need during your stay.
It is also close to the El Yunque rainforest and Old San Juan is an easy day trip.
Bill is great. He is very responsive and helpful. We would try to go back to this condo if we can go back to Puerto Rico again. I would juggle dates, if necessary, to stay in this condo again.
I have been to Puerto Rico three times and all three times I have stayed at this same condo! I've been there with my husband, friends and family and each time we go we are very comfortable and very relaxed. We cannot wait to go next year!! You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Waking up to that view everyday is enough to make you not want to leave!
