House, 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5-7)
26 Salmon Drive is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin situated on the Trinity River in the remote and beautiful historic mining town of Lewiston. Steelhead and salmon fishing right from the river bank of the property combined with the Bucktail drift boat access directly across the river makes this getaway the optimal location for fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts.
This cabin is nestled in the trees set back off the Trinity River with a quiet scenic view of the pine trees from the large covered porch, which we have found perfect for relaxing and grilling after a day on the river. Our actual property extends all the way to the river bank, across the river from Bucktail Hole, however the house itself is set back about 100 yards from the river itself.
The house includes a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen complete with a new outdoor Weber gas grill. There is a dining table off the kitchen inside as well as a large dining table on the deck. This is a home away from home for us, so we try to keep all the typical cooking and dining essentials handy.
The master bedroom includes a new queen size bed as well as a twin size day bed. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds which is plenty of room for two adults. If you find yourself needing additional sleeping accommodations, we have a king size aero bed available as well. Linens and bath towels are provided as well as starter paper products.
**NEW!! HD FLAT SCREEN!
The living room is conveniently adjacent to the kitchen and dining area with a 50' HD flat screen television with Direct TV. Free wireless internet. This house also has heating, air-conditioning, washer/dryer, and free long distance from the house phone. Smoke-free please and 'good' dogs welcome. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us any time.

Nice place and perfect for fishing
My friend and I spent the weekend for some guided steelhead fishing and the place worked out well. The front wash room is perfect for taking off waders. The size of the house was perfect for two with a nice kitchen/dining room/family room. Even though it was cold, we used the BBQ every night for dinner. Liked having wireless to check email at night.
Great property! So close to the river!
The cabin was great, the owners were amazing, it was definitely dog friendly! The beds we’re not great, but overall the trip was amaze!
Great property in the mountains
I really enjoyed my stay this was my second time renting the cabin the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I was charged a $25 cleaning fee on top of the 150 that I paid because I forgot to strip the beds I had clean the house broom cleaned the floor and tried to make sure everything was need for the cleaning lady unfortunately because we did not leave a tip in her tip jar she reported the house was trashed to the owner which was not the case that was my only problem with the stay other than that the cabin was completely has described and I would love to stay there again I would just make sure next time to strip the beds so I don't get charged $25 for 5 minutes of work also there was a glass shelf in the refrigerator that was down on the lower part of the refrigerator and the cleaning lady tried to bill us for that but the owner did not charge me that would have been a problem if she did because I did not cause any harm to the refrigerator other than that my stay was lovely it was me and another older gentleman that stayed and we both had a great time just remember to strip your beds
Great place had everything we needed.

Perfect for our fishing trip
Great cabin near the river!
We had a great time at this cabin! Had a little trouble with the tv, but called the owner who walked me through the set up. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you needed. A friend came up with his boat and my boyfriend and he fished for the day while I found a charming winery up the street. Had dinner in town at the Lewiston Hotel....great find! Bellied up to the bar for some awesome ribs and live music. Fall leaves and blue skies made the weekend perfect! Thank you!
