Splendid portion of the villa immersed in the olive trees on the gulf of Portofino with a wide terrace, barbecue, private garden and two car spaces. Great tranquillity and comfort 2 km away from the beach and 5 km from Portofino. Bus line at the exit of the property also motorway and railways. Genoa Airport is 30 km away.
Golf, tennis, organized beach, and the possibility to make customised boat trips.
The house consists of three bedrooms, of which two are king size and one single; 3 bathrooms, a lounge that overlooks the terrace between the olive trees, a complete kitchen also with an outdoor table on the terrace with a barbecue.
Overlooking the sea, the house is illuminated by the sun through the day, and at night it benefits from the fresh breeze of the hilly backdrop.
The tranquillity and privacy characterize the property which is only 10 min away by foot from the centre of Santa Margherite Ligure. Fascinating and sought after Ligurian towns, that offers every kind of comfort, from the most exclusive SPAs of the Ligurian hotels, the wonderful beaches of Paraggi, the charm of Portofino, to the most practised sports and the trendiest shops.
Available on the weekends, weeks or months.
Milanese entrepreneur, passionate about sailing, utilises the house only for brief periods of time and it guarantees the good maintenance and operation.
Riccardo purchased this house in 1983
Passionate about sailing and travelling, I utilize the house only for a few days a year.
We had a wonderful time at villa and owner was very kind to guide us to the property. Super market is near by and you can find fish market in town. We got nice shrimp for steam cooking and was very good. We enjoy ride boat to Cinque Terre and Porte Fino found good restourant over there. The place has big parking even had a BBQ grill which we did not use but looks great. If you are planning to visit Santa Margarita Liguria this is the place.
House and view are amazing. Ricardo met us at the Interstate highway in Rapallo and led the way to the house which helped a lot. House is not marked well and driveway is easy to miss. View is as advertised and is worth it. House is too far to walk to stores, restaurants and train station. Bring lots of coin for paring. Train station is perfect for inexpensive trips to 5 Terra, Genoa, Pisa & Turin. We parked in the Santa M and walked to Portofino. Great exercise and spectacular views the whole way. Ferries are easy to catch, too from the docks in Santa M.

I recommend reading Rick Steves Italy and Back Roads Italy. Both were spot on.
In all our years of traveling, we have never had such a commanding view of the Italian Riviera. The beautiful house sits on a majestic hill with a patio that you won't want to leave…and you shouldn't. The owner, Riccardo has supplied the kitchen with all the amenities, the Beds and Linens are comfortable, wifi was easy, and access to Santa Marguerite as well as Portofino….minutes away. We appreciated all the festive Christmas decorations and holiday boutiques…Perfect Getaway! Riccardo, the owner, was easy to deal with and went the extra mile meeting us by the highway …he even had time to give us a cooking lesson…which we all enjoyed. I would return and recommend it highly to all our friends and family.
Riccardo, the Owner, is very responsive and helpful. The villa was very clean, well equipped, and quiet. We especially enjoyed the terrace with wonderful views, breezes, and plantings. The path down to town is very steep, although picturesque, and there are taxis if you don't feel quite up to the climb back. Sometimes we drove to town, but parking to say the least is a challenge. From here, we took day trips to Cinque Terra and Portofino. Sue
Location is everything and this house has everything. It is perched high above the city with an amazing view. It is in a secluded, quiet area but very close to town. The garden provides a wonderful place to have breakfast and enjoy the view. The entire property is very clean and in great condition. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Bedrooms are very comfortable and all baths have a rain shower. Ricarrdo is the perfect owner/host. He even met us at the freeway and led us to the house. The parking was also good and secure. If you do not have a car, the house is a short taxi ride from the train station and town. The only concern would be if you have difficulty with stairsi/steps. The house is built on a hill so there are many steps. If this is a problem for you this may not be the property for you.
The house is situated with an amazing view. The day that we arrived was sunny and a cruise ship was in the bay. The owner, Riccardo met us and checked us in. Riccardo speaks good english which was appreciated as our Italian is not very good. Riccardo was easy to converse with via email before we booked the property and also offered us some wine and fresh focaccia on arrival.
The house is spread over two floors. The ground floor offers a spacious lounge/ entertainment area and kitchen.
There is a spacious terrace/deck that overlooks a spectacular view of the Mediterranean.
The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable.
First hill with a great sea view, tranquillity, parking space and public bus.
