Great Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 12 assorted relatives (6 children aged 7 to 15) and 6 adults had a fabulous time hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, golfing, playing croquet, eating lobstah etc. etc. etc. The house suited us exactly, being well equipped and extremely comfortable.

Large historic house with rustic charm

  • 4 of 5

We've been coming here in the summer for years. Typically we are a large group, so we appreciate the number of bedrooms. It's also in a location we like, a short walk from downtown Southwest Harbor, and right across the street from Beal's Lobster Pier, and convenient to the rest of Acadia National Park.

awesome stay

  • 5 of 5

A very convenient location with more than enough room for everybody in the group.House is very clean with ample accessories. we did so many acadia attractions in just 2 days. we never ran out of groceries, west side plaza is just in neighborhood. I really appreciated, owners being so caring and generous. we arrived really late in the night and the lights were on with all beds setup to go to sleep right away. overall our stay was very pleasant and because of the house, we were able to make complete use of our vacation time. Many thanks Kristin.

Good.

  • 4 of 5

Our experience was good. The house had age specific things for entertainment. Our kids also enjoyed the stay. Spacious house. Scenic surroundings. The kitchen was so comfortable. It had every thing we needed.

The only problem that we faced was the latch of the bathroom door upstairs. It wasnt working.

Relaxing Stay outside Acadia

  • 5 of 5

My extended family (including 5 children) stayed at the Captain Nathan Clark house and we could not have had a better experience. The location worked really well for us; it is close to both Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but away from the crowds. It is within walking distance of the main street in Southwest Harbor and across the street from Beal's Seafood, which we highly recommend. The house is comfortable and charming, with a homey and welcoming feel. We were all able to eat together in the dining room, but also had space if we needed to retreat for some peace and quiet. We found the home clean and well-stocked when we arrived and would happily stay there again.
