Guestbook comments from the owner

Very enjoyable 3 days at Logan's Hideaway.Spent Many hours sitting on the deck or in the hot tub watching the busy passage out front. The wa terscape is constantly changing, great views. The cottage is nicely appointed, everything you need and the new Webber BBQ was a plus.We had one rainy day so took advantage of the DVD library.

Pender Island has a lot to offer,a good grocery store, liquor store and variety of other shops.Several good restaurants, the seafood pot pie at Hope Bay Cafe was memorable, delicious.Lots of good hiking trails,Mt Norman is a must-do,steep hike up but fantastic view point makes it well worth it,close by the George Hill trail also offers great views at the top.A fun little golf course close by.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage - a perfect getaway with friends! The kitchen was really well stocked, appliances great, fireplace cozy, and hot tub just perfect. We're already planning a return for next year!

A wonderful family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time in this cozy, well-appointed, ocean-front cottage. We had everything that we needed for our stay. The hide-a-bed was really comfortable and everything was very clean. The view from the hot tub just gorgeous. We had a ton of fun on the private beach skipping rocks and exploring. I would definitely recommend visiting the frisbee gold course for an afternoon of fun. It's a bit of a hike, up and down the hills, but well worth it. We would visit Pender Island and stay here again in a heartbeat.

Owner's Response: The beach is a wonderful place to relax and explore. At the disc golf park you get to test your skills and get that hike in at the same time. In the hot tub you get to relax and plan for the next adventure! Now that you have found Pender Island we hope you will visit with use again. Cheers! Bill & Diane

Amazing Relief

  • 5 of 5

Never forgetable for the family's vacation. This is the best ever I've been. Fantastic view especially the sunset. A great, cosy and lovely place to getaway. We loved the hot tub, which made you not want to ever get out. Bill is very nice and caring. The telescope is awesome we can even see the seals from here. Hope to come back again soon. Highly recommended. Kevin

Ever-changing waterfront.

  • 4 of 5

Very impressive accommodation.Hosts payed close attention to detail and durability.Could easily house two to four with two separate sleeping zones.

Generous water facing deck and excellent egress to same gave a sense of stability, brightness and security.

The addition of the large jetted tub perched on the hill overlooking the beach was simply icing on the cake.

Well done !!!

Great little spot overlooking the water

  • 5 of 5

Great little place with a great view in a good location. Diane very thoughtfully met us at the gate when we arrived from the ferry. The power to the island was out when we arrived. Diane provide candles and ensured that we were settled until the power came back on.

Really enjoyed the comforts of their little cottage. The hot tub overlooking the ocean is a great feature.

Our favorite vacation site!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this cottage every summer for the past 5 years and plan to continue every year! It is peaceful and beautiful, with incredible views (including from the hot tub!), privacy, and easy access to everything on Pender as well as swimming or boating outings. Bill and Diane are wonderful, often providing surprises like a bouquet of roses for our anniversary, homemade jam and pie from their garden fruits, as well as perfect suggestions for new hikes or other things to explore on the island. We always come home rested and relaxed, and looking forward to our next visit.
