A freshly decorated, first floor apartment with air-conditioning, wi-fi, satellite TV, sun terrace overlooking beautiful, well maintained gardens and large, private pool, in a peaceful and charming location. The sun terrace gets the sunshine from lunch time till sunset, and the bedrooms get the sunshine in the mornings - just perfect!

This modern development of luxurious and very well maintained apartments, is only a 8-10 minute gentle stroll from the Puerto Banus beach and a further 4 or 5 minute walk along the new board walk to the famous Marina and all the excitment. There are lots of fabulous, well priced, restaurants and bars, lots of fast cars and fantastic yachts and great "people watching"!

There's a small supermarket near the apartment and a good selection of great restaurants and bars very close by, also there is a large shopping complex, beside the Marina.

The property benefits from an enclosed garden and security system ad nights time security and pool attendant during peak season, and has paddle-tennis courts next to the pools. There is also a tennis club next to the apartments. The apartment itself boasts marble flooring with 2 twin bedrooms (1 with en-suite bath & shower) and a spacious living room with dining area, which leads out to the lovely south-west facing balcony overlooking the pool. The separate fully fitted kitchen, is complete with washing machine and dishwasher and a further main bathroom with shower. The apartment also has a Television, Satellite TV and DVD player, a range of sun beds and accessories. The garage has its own private storeroom for bikes/golf clubs etc. Although a first floor apartment, it has a lift and there is a roof terrace for stunning views and excellent for drying clothes (if you wish to wash clothes before you get home!). Two minute walk from main road with excellent Taxi and Bus service, as well as accessible garage via overpass or underpass. Availability is flexible. Summer months are normally weekly or fortnightly lets, and we can offer long periods for Autumn, Winter and Spring at special rates. Relax for a few months in a nice warm climate, with lots of good walks and explore the nearby towns of Malaga, Marbella, San Pedro, Gibraltar, Granada, Cordoba and Seville.

Pool: The Pool does have an on duty life guard, during peak times of the day, during the peak months. Please note that lilo's and other inflatables are not generally accepted whilst the pool attendant is there for safety. No glass by the pool for obvious reasons, but the apartment is equipped with suitable plastic tumblers and containers for some pool side enjoyment!

Golf: There are two sets of Golf Clubs in the store room, however to play on most of the courses, you will need a certificate of your handicap from your own Golf Club. The nearest golf course, which does not require a handicap certificate, is at Magna de Marbella, and is about 4 or 5 minutes in a taxi from the apartment .This is only a 9 hole course, but the cost is very reasonable to play there, and there is a very attractive clubhouse/ restaurant.

My name is Stuart Combie, I am married with 3 grown up children. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, and I am a director of a small house building company.

I am a keen sailor and I love the sea, the coastline, exploring coves, beaches and islands.

We come out to the apartment about 4 times a year, often with our young grandchildren, (my daughter, Emily, with her husband and my grand children in the photo above), who adore the pools, the beautiful gardens and the beaches.

Why Stuart Crombie chose West Costa del Sol

We love the bright sunny apartment, which has front and rear aspects, so we can always get a ''through draft''. The airconditioning is also brilliant. The apartment is set in beautiful gardens, overlooking the pools, it gets the sun in the bedrooms in the mornings and from lunchtime till dark on the terrace. The sun terrace overlooks the pools and the lovely gardens. There is a basement carpark and a lift takes us from the car to the apartment with any heavy messages.

It is only an 8 or 10 minute gentle stroll to the fabulous beach and then another 4 or 5 minutes walk along the beach path to the amazing Marina and all the excitement. Excellent restaurants, and really not very expensive. Great for ''people watching'' and lots of Ferraris!

What makes this apartment unique

We were absolutely taken by the location of the property. It is set in beautiful landscaped gardens, has excellent all night secutity, it is safe and relaxing with fantatic pools, and yet is only a 10 minute gentle stroll to the beach, and a further 5 minutes along the new board walk, to the Marina and all the excitement.

The Marina at Banus is amazing, incredible yachts, and with Ferraris and Lamborginis dotted all along the quay-side.

It is so relaxing to sit at one of the fabulous bars, and ''people watch.''

Notes:
There is a DVD player (with a few DVD's. DVD rental store is near by.) The apartment has Satellite/Digital TV with Sy Movies & Sky Sports. There is free Wifi in the apartment. There is also 2 sets of golf clubs in the store room, though a certificate of handicap is required . The kitchen is well fitted out with all the usual white goods including dish washer and washing machine.

Amazing!

Extremely impressed with the apartment and how helpful Stuart was! We were 4 females staying at the apartment who went end of September.

Firstly, Stuart was very helpful before our trip with exactly how to get there, what was around and distances to places! He also was kind enough to get somebody to arrange from transport from Malaga airport.

Shirley and Jill who met us at the apartment were also very kind and helpful and showed us around the apartment as well as took the time out to tell us about local places, where to visit and what to do around the area.

The apartment is a fantastic location and is only a 10-15 minute walk to the main port and the local beach. It is a great location for is you want to enjoy night life as well as just the area of Puerto banus in general. It isn't too close so that it is noisy and too busy so for us we found it was perfectly located.

The apartment itself was very clean and tidy and had a booklet which had lots of useful information in, including bus timetable, places to see and places to eat etc

The pool area to our surprise was always very quiet so was lovely and relaxing!

I would most definitely stay here if I was to visit Marbella again!

Fantastic apartment

This place was just what I had hoped when I booked, perfect size for 4 girls with everything we needed. It is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Puerto Banus which was perfect. Just close enough to feel part of the town but far enough out to be quiet. The pool was lovely too, much easier that walking to the beach everyday! We would definitely return for another girls holiday!

Fantastic Trip fantastic Location.

Only a short weeks stay for us but a perfect location to have a warm trip away. Enjoyed the pool everyday as the weather provided some good sun and heat. Sun loungers were very beneficial thank you. Local shops not to far to walk and central hub not a long walk either. Very clean apartment and great deck to enjoy lunches and dinner with the Sun on your back. Also walking distance from the Casino which is handy for a night out of fun. Will look at a return holiday one day soon. Can you reccomend a fantastic restaurant for next time? Thank you very much.

Back again and better than ever!

This was our second stay at this apartment and we were not disappointed. The apartment was very clean and welcoming and the communal areas are extremely well maintained. There is everything we would need for our family with young children , (well equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms, cot, pushchair cbeebies!) The swimming pool is impressive, comfortable sun loungers, excellent life guard, plenty of friendly families and groups of young people but never too busy. The surrounding gardens are beautiful. We tended to arrive at the pool around 11am, have a couple of hours sunbathing then take the kids to the tennis courts, where there is also an enclosed football area for a play. After lunch we would head round the corner (2 mins) to the ice cream kiosk and eat them back at the pool. The weather and atmosphere is so great you can relax by the pool till sun down, around 8pm in high summer, and the life guard is on duty until then too. In the evening we headed to the port, where there are plenty of restaurants and bars or else round the corner, behind the Casino, there is a great sports bar and Italian side by side, drinks are far cheaper and they show sports and have wifi. Some nights we also headed up the back to the bull ring where, again there are good places to eat and drink and you will find it a lot cheaper than the port. The location of the apartment is great in this respect as you have the choice to walk down to the port or stroll to the local areas which also includes Boutique Hotel Sisu round the corner. During our stay we hired a car locally for 3 days. There are plenty of places round the side of Cristamar shopping centre and you can get a compact 5 door for around €20 a day. We headed to the waterpark Aqualand at Torremolinos and to the beaches beyond Marbella where the water is crystal clear and the water is knee level for 50 ft. The beaches in Banus are also excellent. Our favourite is Minstal which is closest to the apartment, around 10 mins, There is an inflatable assault course in the water, kids and adults will love and also a board walk that takes you to the port or to San Pedro. It's a great holiday for kids but we have now booked the apartment for later in the year to head back with another couple, no kids, can't wait!

Lovely Holiday Rental

After a three week stay, we can't wait to go back! The apartment is in a great location- close to the shops and restaurants in the port, and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking along the beachfront to Marbella, and shopping at the Saturday market in the Plaza de Toros. If you have a car, Ronda and the pueblo blancos are just a 30 minute drive away, and Seviila and Granada are just 2 hours from the flat. There is a bus nearby which goes to these locations as well. Gibralter and even Tangier make for interesting day trips.

The flat is clean with a good kitchen. The decoration is tasteful and the walls appeared freshly painted. The upholstery and beds looked brand new. Great value and a memorable holiday.

Lorcrimar Phase 3 is a new development in Puerto Banus, near Marbella. Puerto Banus is fast becoming a hot spot for celebrities and is full of vibrant people, fast cars, big yachts and stylish shops. There are many golf courses, shops and other amenities near by, as well as Marbella, Fuengirolla, San Pedro and Gibraltar are all a short distance away. There is a good choice of supermarkets nearby, and Puerto Banus has a huge 'El Corte Englaise Hypercor',hypermarket. The bus service from Malaga, in the North, to Gibralter in the South is excellent. There is a fast 'sports' ferry which runs to and from Banus to Marbella, all day long. This makes for a very pleasent day ou, and the trip takes only 30 mins each way. The historic town of Ronda lies about 40k to the north, and there is a regular bus service, or you can drive there in about 40 mins.

Gibralter is also about 40k down the good coastal road.

Other Activities: jet skis, pedalos, water skiing

Golf: Lots of excellent golf courses nearby.
