About Jessica Sankey
The property is owned and managed by three siblings (Jessica, Jason, and Emily) and their partners. The house was built in 1994 and has been in our family ever since. We grew up spending summers on the island and now visit whenever we're able. Chappaquiddick is dear to our hearts and provides much needed respite and ocean breezes when we need a break. In the winter, you can find us playing in the high hills of VT, but as soon as the snow melts we make frequent trips to Chappy to maintain and upgrade the house.
Jessica Sankey purchased this House in 1992
Why Jessica Sankey chose Edgartown
Over the past 3 years, we've put on fresh coats of paint upstairs and down, refinished the beautiful wide pine floors, rebuilt and stained the porches, upgraded the plumbing system, cleared and chipped surrounding trees and brush, and put on a new roof. We have reliable locals who clean the house, and two trusted caretakers on Chappaquiddick who remain on-call should anything arise during your stay.
What makes this House unique
Unbeatable star gazing; peace and quiet; lots of crickets; comfortable hammock; outdoor shower; open living space and screened porch: sunny decks and gentle breezes to warm, cool and nurture your soul.

Well-maintained home, minutes from beach
This is a great home for a family vacation or reunion. We traveled with 4 children, ranging between 4 mo and 12 years, and 4 adults. We were delighted to find kids' toys, puzzles and games. There is plenty of space (and several bathrooms) for a comfortable stay. The screened porch was our favorite place to gather for meals and cocktails. The pictures accurately reflect the property and the amenities suited all our needs. We had plenty of flatware, wine glasses, and cookware for meals and BBQs. The outdoor shower was a huge hit after long beach days and we loved the big backyard. The internet worked without a hitch, saving us on rainy days, and the house was very clean. Thank you! See you again next summer.
Beautiful Quiet setting
We had such a wonderful time. A nice quiet home with a great yard for the kids. Thank you. See you next year.
