Tucked away cabin, close to it all.
This well-appointed cabin located minutes from Mount Rushmore and Custer state park is an excellent choice for travel to the Hill Country, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Badlands, and Devils Tower. From your porch you can see deer and wild turkey walk right on by and within 10 minutes be having a drink in Keystone or viewing Mount Rushmore. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the views from and cabin were nice.
Relaxing in the Black Hills
It was great. Loved making a fire in the fire pit each nite, enjoyed the quiet.
Perfect little cabin for the 6 of us!
This cabin was just the right place for us to gather with out daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren for a weekend. We were gone a lot due to flying our hot air balloon out of the Statobowl in the early mornings, but especially enjoyed our down time in the afternoons at the cabin. Appreciated the cleanliness and the bedroom and bathroom arrangements. The grand kids loved the games and books (and so did the grown ups)!
Great location - All the comforts of home
Highly recommend this property. It's centrally located but off the main highway providing darkness and quiet. From here we travelled to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, Badlands, Iron Mountain Rd, Custer State Park, Needles Hwy, Hot Springs. Very easy to get to off Hwy 16. Less than 30 minutes from the airport and just a few miles to Keystone for gas, restaurants, tourist attractions etc.
Once there, the cabin is extremely well appointed. Every essential thing you need, plus a ton of extras. We really appreciated the attention to detail. Julie provided a special treat in the fridge and we enjoyed our farm fresh scrambled eggs and cheese and toast and grapes each morning. If you plan on cooking all the basic spices are provided. Basic condiments and jellies were in the fridge. Breakfast sandwiches were in the freezer if you prefer.
The beds, shower, bath, towels, linens were all comfortable. We didn't get to meet Julie (our fault). The checkin/checkout couldn't be simpler. We loved seeing the deer and turkey every day when we drove in and out of the property.
Highly recommend and if we return to the area this is the first place we'll look.
We had a GREAT TIME!
The Cabin was very Clean!
Close to everything in the hills we wanted to do.
Special treats in the refrigerator.
Julie gave us a tour of the farm. The granddaughters really enjoyed the chickens and feeding the Yaks and learning about the bee’s. The Cosmos are right across the road also!
Thanks for a GREAT Vacation!
Beautiful cabin in the hills...and woods.
Such a great location to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Amazing place to come back to after the days adventures and relax around the campfire before settling in for the evening. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could think of, just perfect!
5 miles from Mount Rushmore. Centrally located to Black Hills attractions.
