About Lisa Buyack

This property is owned by the Buyack and Pratt families. Natives of Arizona, but we escape to Southern Utah as often as possible.

Lisa Buyack purchased this cabin in 2007

Why Lisa Buyack chose Utah

Southern Utah is a hidden jewel. The area has some of the most amazing beauties in the US. Zion National Park is perhaps the most amazing of all the US National Parks. The quad trail systems through the national forest in the area are some of the best in the nation. The property is fun year round with so many activities to do.

What makes this cabin unique

We built this cabin first for our us and for our family. It was setup to fit a small or large group combined. We didn't spare any expense as you'll see with the solid wood floors and custom cherry cabinets and granite countertops. The high speed internet, and Satellite TV lets us stay connected to life, yet a step outside and you can watch deer, turkey and numerous other antelope walking around the property. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. We come up to the cabin ourselves several times a year, and with each visit we try to figure out what needs to be updated and improved. This ensures the cabin is comfortable and current for all. We're glad you enjoyed the cabin and atmosphere. We would love to have you back again!

Felt like pampered houseguests.

  • 5 of 5

We are returning house guests. Three generation family members had plenty of room and privacy. The owner called us during our stay to make sure all was going well. We spent time on ATVs, exploring caves, hiking in Bryce Canyon, fishing in local ponds, and hiking nearby paths. Our last evening there, we turned off all electronic gadgets and played a game called Spoons. There was laughter throughout the evening from all 3 generations. We returned home with many wonderful memories.

Owner's Response: Hi Elaine - We are so glad you felt pampered! We work hard to make sure people feel taken care of while they are there. Great idea to have all electronic gadgets off and get some quality time together. Would love to hear how you play spoons - sounds fun. We hope to have you back again!

A great family reunion!

  • 5 of 5

We had a family reunion here and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! There were deer everywhere and we were so entertained by the cute chipmunks that came to visit on the back stairs every day. The kitchen was well stocked which we really appreciated since we like to cook and eat dinner as a family. It's a great location with lots of fun ATV trails nearby, caves to explore, hiking, fishing, beautiful scenery, cooler weather in the hot summer, and the Shakespeare Festival in nearby Cedar City. Everyone found things to do and we all felt like we had plenty of space in the cabin.

Owner's Response: Hi Susan, So glad you guys really got out and explored the area. There are so many things to do, and it looks like you found many of those. Those chipmunks are cute but we're just waiting for one to sneak in the house on someone! Sounds like your family reunion went well! We frequently replace and update items in the kitchen as we know how important / central it is to activities in the cabin. The ATV trails in the area are great! There is actually a map you can get at the gas station which shows the overall trail system, and the system is nicely labeled with trail signs at each intersection. Also glad to hear that you got to see part of the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City. Sounds like you guys had a great time and we hope you can come back again!

We had a great family get together at this cabin.

  • 5 of 5

We found everything in good condition, and the owners were very helpful in getting us in and settled down. There was a lighting storm that caused a problem with the alarm system, but the owner was very helpful in resolving the problem. We would stay there again if we get the opportunity.

Owner's Response: Thanks John for the review! Technology can be both a blessing and a curse. It lets us completely manage the property remotely which is great, but then it can cause frustration when it doesn't work as expected! We're glad you had a good time and we'd love to have you back again!
