Christina and John Lynch own and manage this property. We used to live in the condo prior to having kids...so we can tell you it is a great place to enjoy Annapolis from...and the views aren't bad either.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2001
Annapolis is a historic town surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and Severn River.
It has the amenities of a big town all walkable within the historic district.
Plus, the Naval Academy and St. John's College add culture and excitement to the town.
The view from deck at night is a favorite spot to view Historic Annapolis. Guests of our
condo love the ability to walk out the door and be in the middle of the Historic District.
The Naval Academy and City Dock area are a nice walk down Main Street.
This is a great condo located one -half block from Main Street and several blocks to the waterfront. We loved the deck and used it every morning. I would highly recommend this for a girls' weekend. We felt perfectly safe walking in the area at night. The owners were wonderful and accommodating to our check-in time request and any questions we had. Thank you to the owners!! I would return in a second.
My husband and I and our 4 kids stayed here for 3 nights on our way to North Carolina in July. John and Christina are extremely friendly and helpful hosts and were only a phone call away if we needed anything. Which we didn't as we found the house to be well stocked with everything for our needs. We did eat out every night so didn't use the kitchen much other than for breakfast.
The house is very well located and only a moment's walk from the Main Street and great choice of shops and restaurants.
The house is a good size and there was plenty of space for all of us. The roof terrace is lovely with great views of Maryland State House.
We loved Annapolis and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here
The condo is in a perfect location for easy walking access to shops, historic buildings, the city dock, and the US Naval Academy. The size of the condo was very comfortable for the 6 adults in our group. John and Christina were very helpful hosts - when there was anything we needed (such as extra toilet paper and dish soap), they were easy to contact by text and dropped off the needed supplies within 12 hours. The only inconvenient aspect was that the kitchen was not extremely well-stocked; we cooked most of our meals at the condo in order to save money, and the kitchen only had one small mixing bowl and no cutting boards. We made do just fine with what was there, though, and the living space, bedrooms, and bathrooms were more than sufficient. We had a wonderful stay! Of particular recommendation nearby: The Annapolis Pottery Shop, Annapolis Ice Cream Company, and Hats in the Belfry. :)
Location was wonderful...only steps away from restaurants and shopping.
You can't beat the location. There are restaurants starting half a block from the front entrance and up and down Main Street. The dock area is a 3 easy city blocks walk. Shops and bars are all easily walked to from Conduit Street. The vacation rental is wonderful. The view from the deck is a photo op dream. This worked well for all of us being in our 60's with my mother who is 85 able to climb and descend the set of stairs up to the door to the rental and then the inside set of stairs up to the living room/lower bedroom/kitchen level. Ample closet space, well stocked kitchen ware and large refrigerator. A perfect location to visit the area from, or a Naval Academy wedding or visiting the Eastern Shore. Parking out front of rental after dark was easy with a public parking lot just steps away to park in when street parking was full. Never had a problem finding parking. Our hosts, John and Christina are very supportive and are very knowledgable about the area and will offer suggestions and info to help make your visit enjoyable. We would recommend this to everyone that wants to really get to know the area by walking or as a home base to visit nearby areas. We will definitely stay here again
What incredible luck! Our daughter attended all four years at St. John's College blocks away, and we found our Home-Away-From-Home early on. We are "Home Bodies" so having the same vacation rental that felt just like home was important. Master bedroom and private bath on the top floor. Check! TWO more separate bedrooms BOTH with separate twin beds with a second bathroom. Check!! Big flat screen TV with cable in an inviting dining/living room, a large deck with BBQ, laundry, very nice kitchen. Perfect for our family of 5!!! And when Grandma came for graduation, we still have lots of space!
The location is ideal! Literally, just step outside and walk 50 feet to fabulous restaurants, wonderful shops, as well as the Naval Academy and many historic sites. There is even Chick & Ruth's Delly on the corner which opens late and features 3lb. burgers/sandwiches and The World's Largest Milkshake. It is a "must try"! We did! : )
The owners are very sweet and thoughtful. We will certainly miss our Annapolis Home-Away-From-Home.
We think any family or group staying here will be very happy and thrilled with this perfect location. Enjoy!
In the heart of historic Annapolis, there are walking and riding tours of Colonial Annapolis, and an easy walk to the Naval Academy, City Dock, Annapolis Harbor, and the State House. Carriage rides and ghost tours as well.
