Open the triple panel glass door and you will feel like you are dining outside over the water.

We go the extra mile for you: * The ocean and bay boardwalks are wonderful for bike riding so we provide beach cruiser bicycles for you... just like the ones you rode as a kid. No fancy gears, just a plain bike with a wide comfortable seat, high handlebars, kickstands, and back-peddle brakes.

World Class View

Lovely top floor corner Condo. Very comfortable arrangement. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen.

One of the best features is haveing all of this in a secure building with underground assigned parking area.

The central locacation makes it easy to get around the entire region. Close to restaurents and grocery stores.

Was everything we wanted and more

We've stayed at this building before, but this was our first time in this unit. The unit was laid out perfectly, and provided a great open flow straight out to the deck (overlooking the beach and the bay). Everything we could need was at our fingertips...and Nancy herself was onsite to make sure our arrival and check-in went without a catch. We brought our daughter, and had plenty of towels, umbrellas, and beach toys to enjoy the clean, sandy beach. Sail bay is much quieter than most beaches, but the ocean is a short walk away, and downtown is a quick drive. We fell in love with how this place was the perfect location for whatever we needed/wanted. We will definitely be returning to this building, and depending on availability will certainly rent this unit again!

Ok area and property .

Nice view but pictures are definitely enhanced. Unit is in need of painting and new rugs are a won't do! Condo building needs better upkeep in general.

Area is loud, congested and geared towards the college crowd on the weekends. Lots to eat and do in walking distance...close to major attractions by car.

Owner's Response: We would like to thank you for providing your feedback regarding your stay. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the beautiful view this condo has to offer and that most anything you needed was within walking distance. Thank you for offering your suggestions on the paint and carpets. This is something we have already scheduled now that we are finally starting see some vacant days ahead, after our peak season. During the summer months, our busiest time of year, we have back to back reservations and we are always fully booked. This not only increases the wear and tear on the condo but it also means we only have 5 hours to clean and address any maintenance issues before the next guest checks in. As we get closer to fall, it starts to slow down and that is our time to take care of major repairs, replace carpets, paint, etc. It has been 5 years since this condo was fully painted and had new carpet so the owner has agreed to do all that by the end of this year. The owner did put in a new custom made Murphy bed and a new Jacuzzi tub in April. We are really surprised to hear you felt like the building needed better upkeep. if you are referring to the walkways, we agree that they could use a power washing but unfortunately, that is not allowed during this drought. We called the building management and they said the walkways are due for their two year resealing which will be done during the slow season, most likely early Nov. The entire building went through a major remodel about 8 years ago for over a half million dollars. It got new stucco, new glass railings, upgraded elevator controls and new roofs. They said the building is cleaned once a week which is adequate most of the year but perhaps they could use a second cleaning per week in July and will keep that in mind for next summer. We were especially surprised to hear about your comment that this quiet and peaceful Sail Bay area is "loud, congested and geared towards the college crowd on the weekends." The majority of our guests are over 50 and choose to stay in the Sail Bay area because they find that this is definitely the quietest area of in all of Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. The call it "the quiet zone." Besides a few people out walking, running or bicycling on the sidewalk that lies between the building and the bay, and some sail boats and catamarans on the bay, there really isn't much else going on. Great stay. Worth every dollar.

The property has a great location with all major attractions just a short drive away. The condition of the condo was nice and accurately depicted. There is room for improvement with the interior lighting and loud dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. I will stay here again for sure. My wife complained the bathroom lighting was terrible for make-up but I'm a guy, so I didn't mind too much.

We visited the zoo, Sea World, USS Midway, and Sea Port shops.

Condo on Sail Bay

We loved our weekend stay at this condo! While the condo could use some updating, it was very nice and clean and the views were gorgeous! The location was perfect! We loved being able to walk or bike to so many places. The bikes were nice to have, but are in need of a tune up (one squeaked the whole time).

Great location

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every one. It is close to a ton of great restaurants and you have your choice of the bay it a short walk to the ocean. The bikes were great and the condo was comfortable. Would use again for sure

Within 5-20 minutes is Sea World, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it's excellent Mexican Restaurants, Belmont Park & it's authentic 1920's wooden roller-coaster, Sea Port Village, downtown San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, the Convention Center & Petco Park. 30 min to Lego Land, 40 min to The Wild Animal Park and gambling casinos, 75 minutes to the quaint historic gold rush town of Julian, in the mountains, & another 30 minutes beyond that is beautiful Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Even Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm can be done as a day trip. Mexico is only 25 minutes away.
