Semi retired hoteliers we took an ordinary guest house and got into the Which guide. We always aim for high standards and we hope the flat reflects this.We now live in Spain and the flat is looked after by a lovely couple who live close by. We use the flat a couple of times a year and wanted something which was more comfortable than the usual holiday flat. Given a choice of front or back of the building we chose the back because that far South facing the afternoon sun can be too much, many neighbours have extra blinds fitted but our balcony has a light and pleasant aspect.for outside sitting. The complex has plenty of sunbeds and we provide cushions and towels.

Well it was very convenient to the bus routes, the Yumbo centrum for shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. We were told it was the best block in Playa del Ingles and it may well be. two big pools, nice gardens, its own secure car park, two tennis courts, really good restaurants and a clinic with a SPAR opposite to act as a larder.

Apartment was adequate for our needs.
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor in block 2 of a 3 block building. The building has 2 lifts but is in need of some serious TLC, some of which was being carried out whilst we were there. There are also 2 swimming pools and 2 tennis courts on site.
The apartment was clean with adequate facilities required for a short stay and has a small balcony which overlooks the rear of the property and the nearby Yumbo entertainment complex with it's many restaurants, bars and shops over 4 open floors.
The apartment block is conveniently situated on one of the main roads amidst many restaurants, bars and opposite a mini mercado and is on the main bus route for getting to the many surrounding towns/villages, also a brisk 20 minute walk down this road takes you to the main extended clean beaches and sand dunes and with it's plethora of restaurants, bars, shops and outside entertainment.
One word of caution though - beware of Carnival time - this year 14th to 24th March. All the celebrations seem to congregate on the Yumbo centre and the evening discos appear to start between 10/11 pm and can go on upto 4.00am and we are informed on the last weekend upto 6-7am and as the apartment overlooks the Yumbo centre you are part of this exceptionally loud disco whether you want to or not, double glazing doesn't block it out.
Great apartment with everything you need
Enjoyed staying in the apartment the sun shone until 11 am allowing breakfast on the balcony. Ruth and Lee explained the kitchen and bathroom facilities. The two swimming pools are good for relaxing and sunbathing. Thoughtful additions are cushions for sun loungers by the pool. Extremely peaceful location really enjoyed our time there.
I am very glad you liked the flat. We bought it because we wanted somewhere really nice for our own visits to Gran Canaria and it is great when our guests agree. I am sure Ruth and Lee are looking forward to seeing you if you come again
had a lovely holiday the apartment was perfect clean comfortable specially now with the new sofa the apartment had everything you needed and even a washing machine which is a must when you are staying for 3 weeks the apartment is well secured and has private parking if needed location perfect for shops restaurants bars & buses if you wish to travel the island beach is 15 minutes away would like to thank Ruth & Lee who took care of the apartment and meet us at the airport and making us so welcome hope to return again towards the end of the year

Beautiful clean & comfortable apartment in a great location
The apartment is lovely, clean, comfortable & has everything you need for your holiday. Safe & secure block with parking too. The owners & the couple who manage it are very friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of playa del ingles with lots of shops, bars & restaurants on the doorstep. Even with all this around, the apartment itself was quiet & peaceful. We had a lovely holiday & would love to return here next year. Highly recommended!
