Casual elegance and all the amenities

  • 5 of 5

I have rented vacation homes across the country but this one was my favorite. The description of the property was accurate and it was clean and well-maintained. The house is beautiful. If anything, the pictures do not do it justice. We shared the house with another family (six people total) and had ample space. The gourmet kitchen was wonderful to cook in and, like the rest of the house, had everything we needed all week to make our stay comfortable and convenient. There was an issue with the hot tub when we first arrived, but the owner addressed it promptly without having to be asked. It's a long walk into town but we enjoyed staying in such a quiet area of town. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Wonderful experience, wonderful home

  • 5 of 5

Our friends and I had a fantastic time at the Oasis House this past weekend. Ted was a delight to work with from the very start - he was attentive and quick to respond. The home is a quick drive (or long walk) from downtown Ptown. We mostly utilized the very large kitchen (great for entertaining), the living area and double-sided fireplace and the lovely hot tub. It was lovely to have a large dining table which fit 8 adults comfortably for dinners and breakfasts. We found everything to be spotlessly clean, especially the 3 1/2 baths. The decor is very eclectic and interesting - there is certainly no shortage of artwork to look at! We couldn't locate extra towels (i.e. for the hot tub), but with the provided bathrobes in all bedrooms, it was not an issue. We ran to the market to pick up a few essentials such as paper towels, tp, dishwasher detergent, ice, etc. but this is par for the course for most rentals. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay at Oasis House and would not hesitate to rent there again. The morning after we checked out, Ted even called to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay at his property.....what great service! Thank you Ted, we hope to return to Oasis House sooner rather than later!

Owner's Response: Hi Kelly, I'm so glad you all enjoyed your stay. I was disappointed that the cleaning company did not leave TP, dishwashing detergent or paper towels, all of those items are included and on our check list, it was an oversight. I always encourage my guests to call and let me know if there is anything they need. I would have t been happy to tell you where to find towels and Sam would have been happy to get you those supplies, Oh well next time! Thank you, Ted

Lovely April Spring Vacation

  • 5 of 5

My family had a lovely stay in the Oasis House at the end of April. The house is beautiful, very clean, and the linens were wonderful. Our kids loved the chocolates next to the beds, and I loved the fresh flowers all over the house. The fireplace was wonderful! Ted was a great host and gave us a very useful tour at the beginning of our stay. He was also very reachable. You can tell that he's put a lot of thought, love, and care into the home and readying it for guests. He had just finished a kitchen renovation and new floors in the upstairs living area -- all wonderful! The house is perfect for entertaining with the music wired to every room and the large dining table and the kitchen with double appliances. We were able to make a wonderful Easter feast. The location was beautiful in April. There were no leaves on the trees, so the views from the house were spectacular. The hot tub and steam shower were amazing and really made our stay feel like a spa vacation! We were able to walk to a beach, but we were just walking, not carrying chairs and umbrellas to spend the day on the beach. I think driving would be more practical in the summer with kids. Although with the pool, you might not even want to leave the house! We would definitely stay here again!

P-Town Paradise

  • 4 of 5

This is an very well-curated and maintained property that is owned and run by a true pro. The property has all you can ask for--including a pool. The upper story is the living space (kitchen, dining room, den), while the lower story contains the bedrooms. This works well because the upper story has good views and, if you open the windows, a refreshing breeze on warm days. I recommend this property with only caveat: location--if you are looking to be in town, or even a short walk from it, this property is not for you. However, if you have or rent a bike, town is easily accessible--the heart of Provincetown is about a 15 minute leisurely bike ride. You can also drive into town in about 5 minutes (though parking is pricey).

Besutiful, immaculate home.

  • 5 of 5

Oasis house is a gorgeous home with not one little personal detail left out. Upon arrival, Ted meet my children and I, helped bring in luggage and gave us a very detailed tour of the home. Fresh flowers and chocolates in every room! The views are beautiful and his gardens are amazing. He even grows herbs for guests to cook with. My kids loved the pool and adults loved relaxing on the decks or in hot tub during the evening. Ted shows Definite pride in ownership of this home. We will be beck again for sure.

A true Oasis!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 6 adults who had just run the overnight Ragnar Relay race from Hull to Provincetown, so we were looking for some well-earned relaxation time. We were very pleased to find that the Oasis house really is a true oasis! The owner Ted welcomed us with a thorough walk-through of the house explaining everything in detail. He made us feel spoiled with all the treats he arranged, as noted in other reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool, comfortable beds, and other luxuries which helped us recover quickly. We were glad to be able to park both the full-size vans we had rented for the race at the house, as parking in Ptown is challenging.

The views from the house and deck were amazing, and it was an easy walk to the beach. We also walked to town which is a couple of miles away, but then you do earn whatever treats you find there. We ended up cooking most meals at the house since the giant kitchen, outside grill, and festive dining room all were so inviting. We feasted on lobster and other local seafood found at great prices by following Ted’s recommendations. From the first inquiry about the house, through our stay and afterwards, Ted was most helpful with our many questions and a few minor issues. He was very accommodating in working through the logistics of unknown arrival time due to the race. He made us all feel at home in this true oasis. Thanks, Ted!!!
