The apartment deck faces South-SouthEast and overlooks a pea-stone, evergreen and flowered garden with several sculptures, and a lovely fountain which can be experienced from the deck. So the deck is cool in the late afternoon with a sunset in reflection from the West. The sound and sense of Cape Cod Bay to the SSEast is felt in the apartment. The beach is accessed half-block away down the old world dirt alleyway near Anthony St. A mooring suitable for sailboat is on our beach front & can be rented by arrangement. Sand is pure & clean; water, usually transparent with views of Truro and schooners under sail.
The apartment was great--easy to find with off-street parking, friendly owners and well-located to give access to both a calm, retreat Provincetown experience and a busier, in-the-middle-of-it-all Provincetown experience. The space itself was comfortably furnished and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked. I'd definitely stay here again.
The condo was just as described. Open and sunny, fully furnished and very comfortable. The deck w/ retractable awning was great for having coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. Since it's in the quiet far East End, it was nice to be able to get a good night sleep - no listening to late night partyers stumbling down Commercial St. We'd recommend doing as we did and renting bikes for the week so you can quickly get to the center of town. The owners are very nice and were prompt in returning our security deposit as promised after our stay.
