About Diana Feldman

I live in New York City and run a children's theater company. This is my special getaway retreat that was set up with love and care. I feel so at peace here and nurtured by nature. I returned from teaching in India this summer so my house has wonderful Indian art work.

Diana Feldman purchased this cottage in 2007

Why Diana Feldman chose Woodstock

I looked for ten years for this perfect spot before buying. Its perfect location from town and ski slopes could not be better. Its so cozy and secluded yet six minutes from town. Wonderful Indian art work carefully designed by yours truly. Is one of the last original Woodstock cottages. And most of all, great vibes!

What makes this cottage unique

One of Woodstock's last original blue stone fireplace made from Woodstock quarry blue stone.. Special kids playhouse that faces house. Piano and other instruments provided. Additional cool studio with skylights and electric compost bathroom. Oh yes and of course a hot tub!

Just what we needed!!!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned home from 5 days at this lovely property. As the previous review stated We also did not want to leave. Great location, close to town, grocery, music, etc. The Mexican restaurant on the main road Santa Fe was really good and close to home. Stars were great from the porch at night. Hot tub and coffee in the morning could not be better. Went up into the catskills for the road-trip to the Woodstock Museum at Bethel woods took 3 hrs but Worth the drive. Also would recommend Opus 40 really short trip quite the site. Have been to woodstock a few times for musical events at the Levon Helm Barn and have always wanted to come back and explore the area more. There is so much more to do here. We will be back for sure next year or maybe sooner. The entire house and area have a special vibe. Thanks Diana you were great to work with.

Perfect cottage

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough good things about this charming cottage. The location is as described, it feels secluded in the woods yet its a short drive to Woodstock and a grocery store. It's tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. All of the amenities (grill, kitchen appliances, hot tub, etc) were in perfect working condition. There are multiple places to hang out and explore - whether it was the cedar deck, the picnic table in the large backyard, the living room, hammock, enclosed porch, children's playhouse. The group I was with never felt bored with the property. Diana is a gem of a host. She was helpful, responsive and friendly. You will not be disappointed with this property - we didn't want to leave!

Wonderful place to spend Thanksgiving Weekend!!!

  • 5 of 5

The house is even prettier in person. It's so lovely and comfortable, I was sad to leave! The eclectic decor made it so much nicer than many other rentals. It's decorated with love and care. The hot tub was spectacular, under a full moon and a sky filled with stars. The heated marble floors in the bathroom, as well as the heated slate floor in the kitchen was a special treat. The whole house has a relaxing "zen" feeling. And Woodstock is adorable!!!! Chatted with Diane (owner) before our trip. She is very friendly and organized and accessible.

Cozy, comfy getaway

  • 5 of 5

I came up with a couple of friends to get away from the city for a few days. The house was charming! Everyone had a comfortable room to sleep in, the enclosed sunporch was divinely sunny and inviting during the day, and the living room, complete with fireplace, was cozy in the evening. Woodstock is nearby, as well as plenty of places to hike and explore. The owner was available by text and phone to answer any questions. Overall, just a lovely respite from the hubbub of Manhattan!

Excellent!!! Will Definately Book Again

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for a stay during the Woodstock Film Festival. I had 3 international filmmakers flying in and we needed a place that could accommodate everyone. The 3 bedrooms plus the barn worked out perfectly. Everyone had a private room. The house is very comfortable and inviting. Everything we needed was there and in perfect order. The hot tub was great after a long day. The house is set back from the road and very quiet. We will definitely be back again!!

Lovely place to enjoy the the fall foliage

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our short stay in this cozy old style cottage.

The hot tub was a great place to sit and enjoy the changing color of the trees. The house is nicely set back from the road so there is a great sense of privacy. The owner was also very helpful when asked about places we could go walking and the restaurants close by. I highly recommend The Red Onion about ten minutes drive away. A hike up Mount Overlook in Woodstock was spectacular. Yes I would recommend this to a friend and I would certainly like to come back here for another stay.
