Perfect affordable getaway

Had a fantastic couple of days at the affordable well-equipped beachfront condo. It's obvious the owner has taken care to provide new linens, towels and deck furniture to make it very comfortable and welcoming. The screened porch was great with its new, 'reading' friendly furniture, and the kitchen was well stocked for those of us who enjoy eating in. I would suggest upgrading the thermostat as this one was a little confusing to get the A/C set, also would have loved to have a king sized bed, as the queen, while comfortable was very cramped. The bedroom is certainly large enough to accommodate a king. Final suggestion, replace the worn chairs and remove the carpet. While clean, it's color really darkens the space and encourages a very 'musty' smell that lingers on clothing especially when the A/C is not running. Those two items are our only criticism, of an otherwise great place. We would stay there again, it's location and price were great, the community was also perfect, and we appreciate it being dog friendly!

Well maintained

We enjoyed out stay at Darlene's condo-who we rented from-even though Hal took over ownership shortly after we arrived. The condo was well maintained as advertised, and the location is just a short catwalk stroll from the beach. Excellent value for our near 2 month stay, although we may consider being closer to Charleston for our next exploratory visit. Beaufort was delightful-a lot of history in the area for all to enjoy.

Everything was perfect! Great Location, very clean, and very well stocked. We are already planning to came back during summer time and hope to be able to rent this same apartment.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place and very well stocked. Owner was very welcoming and quick responding anytime we had any questions. Slept on the pull out couch and it was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Wonderful vacation

This condo was perfect in every way. The private beach was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. We drove into Beaufort for some sightseeing and shopping. Such a quaint town. There are lots of good local restaurants too. We ate at Johnson Creek Tavern, MJ's, and Dockside. All were very good and highly recommendable. The only drawback is we planned a 3 day stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be returning to this condo and will definitely stay longer. Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us.
