Bed 4 - with large king size bed, Shower room - with shower cubicle, hand basin, washing machine and separate toilet. Kitchen / Diner - modern units, fully equipped kitchen comprising of cooker, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer & dishwasher with large family table and breakfast bar and access onto a small terrace and garden at the rear. Living room -separate with modern corner suite, entertainment unit, feature fire, and coffee table, double patio doors leading onto a large covered terrace and garden. The kitchen terrace is ideal for early morning breakfast and the living room terrace is ideal for al fresco dining with its free standing BBQ and covered terrace. The patio area and landscaped private garden beyond are ideal for relaxing in the sun. The communal swimming pool is only a few meters away or a short 10 minute walk takes you onto the long sandy beach which has been awarded the Blue Flag for quality every year since it was established.

Why Vicky & Tarren Kidd chose Portiragnes Plage

We chose this location for the warm climate and sunshine, coming from the North of England this was important to us, also ease of access either by road, rail or air from the Uk and other European countries. We chose the area because of its proximity to beautiful beaches, ancient cities and towns, nature reserves with fabulous gorges and scenery, famous Canal Du Midi, Mediterranean food and superb wine from the surrounding vineyards.

What makes this house unique

We chose this lovely family house because of the space for us and our children to enjoy and its location within a safe, child friendly complex, in a small village by the sea within walking distance to the beach, canal du midi, nature reserve, good restaurants, local shops, weekly markets and local village festivals.

Le Clos De Socorro is set in a peaceful location on the edge of a nature reserve only 10 minutes walk to the award winning Blue Flag beach and 10 minutes walk to the famous Canal Du Midi. Averaging 300 days of sunshine a year the area is surrounded by vineyards producing excellent wines.

Portiragnes Plage has a good range of markets, restaurants and bars, sporting activities and water sports making this the ideal family holiday location.
