Living in the Bay Area, traveling to Hawaii has been our family tradition for years. I absolutely love the warm and calming air. We picked the Palm Villas for the location (Spa and Shops) and we ended up with a view too! We're sure you will enjoy it too!

We really enjoyed this property and our vacation! The location is perfect with the easy access to the private beach club and other beaches close by.
This property was perfect for our 8 day vacation on the Big Island. The owners were extremely responsive to our needs and receptive to a few recommendations on property upkeep. Access to the private Beach Club at Mauna Lani is a real bonus. The garage is full of anything you would want for beach activities. We look forward to our return to Mauna Lani and would certainly consider staying at this property again.
Our family of 5 (Parents and 3 adult children in their 20's) stayed here over Christmas 2016. The Condo is spacious and attractive, providing for all our needs while vacationing on The Big Island. We ate many of our meals on the balcony, enjoying the views of the golf course and sunrise. Just steps from the condo we used the small but attractive community fitness room and pool. And only a few minutes further on foot is access to the walking/jogging path through the interesting and beautiful Historic Fish Ponds that leads to the Mauna Lani Beach area. The beach and swimming environment are beautiful and clean for families wanting to sit on the beach (lounge chairs provided), swim, snorkel and paddle board. There are plenty of colorful fish to see if you enjoy snorkeling! There is a small market, shops and restaurants a 5 minute drive from the condo (we liked eating at The Blue Room and Tommy Bahama's) and 10 minutes away there are more in Waikoloa Village. If you are a Green Bay Packer football fan there is a great Packer Sports Bar, called Quinn's, in Kona (~30+ minutes drive south of the condo). From the condo we took daily drives- North to the furthest point, South and East to the Volcano National Park, Hilo and Akaka Falls and across the Island on Saddle Road. There is so much to see and do! The condo owner, Cindy (who is pleasant and responsive via email) provides both condo and island written information for her guests to help guide them with questions they may have while visiting.
Overall, this great condo and its ideal location were perfect for our vacation!

We attended a wedding at the Mauna Lani Resort and this property was in the perfect location! Walking distance (.5 mile) to the resort, nearby shops and restaurants, and a few beaches. There's a great smoothie shop and grocery store in the area and you can get acai bowls at Under the Bodhi Tree. We rented a car to get to a couple hikes and we're glad we did; Hawaii is a big Island! The house itself was very clean, was exactly as pictured, and had everything we needed including a hair dryer (very important for us girls), tons of towels (bath, hand, face, and 8 beach), soaps, laundry detergent, and tons of pots and pans and even containers. My only complaints would be that the dishwasher was a bit broken (bottom drawer kept falling off the track and the silverware basket had a gaping hole in it, and you have to scrub the dishes all the way clean before running it or half the dishes would be dirty still), and it was also a bit difficult for us to launder all of our sheets and leave them on the beds before our flights at 10:30am on check out day. And this was with only 5 of us staying in the apartment. If we had had 8 people staying there, it would have been nearly impossible to clean everything since the washing machine can't be overstuffed (it's very small and makes a lot of noise if you put too many towels or sheets in at once).
Contact with Cindy was quick and easy! She always responded swiftly to my questions and we were even able to ship some dresses to the villa that arrived the same day we did. The view from the balcony was fantastic! And the pool and hot tub were great. We would certainly stay here again! Even with the minor complaints! Thanks for everything!
