Lovely and historic stone cottage with beautiful hardwood floors, wood burning stove and oil furnace, one private bedroom with queen bed and a queen pull out tempurpedic couch in the main den. Ceilings fans throughout keep the home it cool, flat screen tv in den and Sonos speakers throughout. Small sunroom overlooks the pond and country kitchen has gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave and plenty of pantry space and all of the cookware you need. The restored stone bathroom has shower/tub and full basement and copper barrel sink. Bicycles and Weber grill on site for use and well-behaved dogs are allowed.

The Ten-Mile River Scout Camp is across the way and fun to check out! The home was recently restored and is perfect for a romantic couple getaway or small family retreat. We are kid and dog-friendly! Savor barbeque dinners on the Weber grill or toasted marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit when the sun goes down. A rolling field sits behind the home where you will watch the deer graze and meander over to the old grape vines which are still a cherished treat in the summer months. A wood burning stove is perfect for chilly nights and you'll love the stone shower and barrel sink; all attention to small details taken to make your stay cozy, comforting and completely at home. Wi-fi and cable tv are available when you want to stay connected. Wake up to fresh brewed coffee while you sit in the sunroom and watch the herons on the pond or enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sunset. Minutes from town, which has blossomed into quite the artsy community! Main Street, though small, has everything you’d hope for: an ex-Vogue/W editor’s boutique, a gorgeous antique garage/bee farm, and some of the best food on the west side of the Hudson (be sure to check out The Heron!). Bethelwoods Performing Arts Center is a 15-minute drive as is white water rafting, canoeing, zip lining to name a few!
