'Key Lime Cottage' is very bright and the decor is very "beachy." Numerous windows abound. This vacation home has parking for two cars, community Pool (20 yards away) and gas grills just out the back door. A short 3.5 minute walk to the beach with showers and access over the dunes. Palm trees and cobblestone paved streets line the neighborhood. Inside you will find a modern two story home. The kitchen has a dishwasher, new granite counter tops, stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. There are three televisions, two VCR's, a DVD player, as well as a stereo system and three telephones.
First Floor: Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room with sleeper sofa, half hall bath, and Laundry room
Second Floor: Bunk Room with two Queen beds with private deck and full bath, King Master Bedroom with private deck and full bath

Key Lime worked out great for my family! It is in a nice, quiet community. We were able to walk to an ice cream shop and restaurants. The beach was not crowded. We loved the little touch of having lights and the tv on so we didn't have to walk into a dark house. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
The place had everything we needed and good location. The management company could not have been more attentive or willing to help. They are very easy to get in touch with. We hope to be back soon!

Family of Four Didn't Want to Leave
Key Lime Cottage was like tonic for our overworked and busy family. This was one of our best vacations yet as a family. My twin 6 year olds have gone to bed each night since our return regaling in stories of Key Lime and all it had to offer. If you are a family look no further you have found your nirvana. This clean, beautifully decorated "cottage" is an easy, quick walk to the beach. So close was Key Lime to the beach that each night we strolled down to the beach to take in the splendor of the sun set. The girls loved the pool. Key Lime Cottage is conveniently located to the pool and the grills. The pool was warm and lush with super nice bathrooms right there. If you have kids you know how awesome that is. The pool was never crowded and we often had it to ourselves. We literally spent the week going between the beach and the pool. And when we weren't doing that we were in this beautiful cottage enjoying it's great energy. The kitchen was well stocked. The girls loved the bunk beds. The bath towels were rich and luxurious. And they have a brand new washer and dryer so this busy working mom returned home from holiday with no dirty laundry. The cottage is also conveniently located to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Just writing this makes me want to time travel back to Key Lime! Oh Key Lime how we miss you and your Old Florida Cottage vibe.

It was bare bones
First impression was good. But within a day or so it was clear this was just a bare bones place. One toilet paper roll/bathroom. With 7 ppl they were gone within 2 days. There weren't any clean/new sponges to wash dishes. One dish towel, one washcloth for kitchen. Definitely not enough. I didn't go on vaca to do laundry the whole time. The dishes were all chipped. The kitchen knives were flimsy and useless. Very dangerous. The floors were dirty. I'm sure a mop or swiffer jet was run over them but those only push chemicals and dirt around. Our socks were brown by the end of the first day. This goes for carpet as well. The beds were ok. The master bed sunk in the middle. When I looked under it, the metal frame holding the box spring was broken and bent--explaining the sinking. The washer and dryer are ancient. The dryer being the worst. It was all rusty on top and the lint tray was all broken and rusted as well. The frame around the tray was missing so the wire mesh was a hazard when cleaning the lint off of it. Very sharp. (so, rusty and sharp--not a great combo). There was one kitchen trash bag. Were we supposed to buy all these supplies for just 7 days?? The best part was the property management company. Any issues we had they rushed to fix. I appreciated their prompt attention and genuine desire to satisfy. I think if they spent a few days IN this place they'd have a laundry list of mandatory improvements to make. Access to beach is good.
We strive for our guests to have the best possible experience during their stay. Sometimes in order to achieve this, we need communication from the guest during their stay. It is unfortunate that you experienced these issues and we would have loved the opportunity to correct them for you had we known about them during your stay. We are aware that the washer and dryer aren’t aesthetically in the best shape but functionally they work fine. We are addressing this with the owner, though, so we appreciate your feedback on this matter. Finally, as for the amenities that are provided in the home, we do communicate in all of our materials that we provide a starter supply of each item to get your vacation started and that additional items beyond that would be the responsibility of the guest to purchase.
