Great house in Newbury
We recently stayed in the chalet for a family get to together that was being held in town and stayed for a week. This provided us a place within a couple miles distance driving to and from to call it an evening. We had all the space, privacy and amenities you could ask for. The owner/host provide us an email a few days prior with all the specifics of the home and general layout of terms which was most helpful and everything went off without a hitch. We would stay here again when requiring additional space when visiting Newbury. Thanks...
Cozy housing close to Mt Sunapee!
The chalet was very cute and comfortable! A good size for two families with toddlers. The location is perfect for visiting Mt Sunapee.
Thank you for your nice comments!

Great for families!
We spent all of ours days out but it was so nice to get back to the house and play some games that were there. We had a great stay! Perfect setup for us and our three girls. They all camped out in the living room on the pullouts and had a blast:) Would love to come back in the summer time!
My wife loved the “moose” theme
Thank-you for allowing us the use of your vacation home in Newbury. I have been visiting Newbury for many years.
The house was everything we needed, it was close to the lake for swimming, plus close to family I have in the area. Went blueberry picking one morning. The ability to cook and do laundry are a plus I feel. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The laundry was stocked with soap, thanks.
My wife loved the “moose” theme.
Thanks again, definitely will consider renting again on another visit.
Thank you Peter!

Not a good summertime choice....
This is a guest beware vacation rental. This property is located about 100 feet from a constantly high traffic, noisy highway. It is too loud to have conversation on the deck. Not a place to enjoy a quiet New Hamshire week. Perhaps better during wintertime if all windows & doors are closed. The sofa bed is old and needs to be replaced. Lots to do in beautiful Sunapee area. WiFi very good.
Thank you for your comments!
I would like to clarify some misleading and inaccurate information for my future Guests!
The property is located 175 feet from sometimes busy Route 103.
The back yard of the house is beautiful old forest of the eastern side of Mount Sunapee with roaring Andrew's Brook.
There are a lot of trees and shrubs between my Vacation House and the Route so you will not see a traffic.
Some HomeAway vacation Guests like to be in the middle of nowhere, deep in the woods and some would like to have convenience of larger parking, simplicity of get in and get off, parking their boats or trailers and having easy access to the property all year round during hot summer or winter powder day, without necessity of 4 wheel drive or truck!
Unfortunately, my recent Guests came exactly during
The 84th Annual Craftsmen's Fair, August 5th-13th and the traffic on that particular week is high!
But a nine-day showcase for exceptional craft by master artisans is unforgettable!
Named one of the Top 100 events in North America, the Annual League of NH Craftsmen’s Fair is one of the oldest craft fairs in the country. For nine days in August, the Mount Sunapee Resort is transformed into a fairground of big, white tents filled with fine craft created by hundreds of master craftsmen. The scenic mountain view, the people, the music are the ideal backdrop for the creativity and beauty you will find at the Fair.
2. Sofa bed
The sofa bed and other minor items were broken by careless recent Guests. The sofa was already replaced!
Thank you for your patience.

Great space for two couples
We stayed here with another couple for my KRHS reunion. Chris was easy to deal with. Very nice space for the 4 of us. We were able to use his grill and store our bikes in the shed. Beds were comfortable. From the upstairs bedroom you have to go down a flight of stairs to access the bathroom, but that wasn't a big deal to us. A very nice kitchen, and penty of parking. Two things for those concerned with noise. There is a very nice Grandfather clock, but if you don't want to here chimes every 15 minutes, I would ask Chris to not rewind the clock before your stay. The house is located close to Rt. 103 which is a prety busy road. If the sound of cars flying by, that might be an issue in the summer if you want your windows open. We didn't use them, but I think there were room air conditioners. If so, you could use these and keep the windows closed. Check with Chris on that. Over all, we had a great stay and would return.
All my Guests will receive an additional 10% discount for the next stay!
